Clean and comfortable room, large by European standards, easy trolley access to downtown Zurich and you could buy the tickets at the front desk. Staff at front desk were very friendly and helpful. The hotel location is very convenient. Steps away from metro. Hotel room was very clean. However the shower may feel little congested for some people. Hotel staff was very helpful. Only thng the breakfast was not included in the price and it was a bit pricy too. Else we loved this hotel.

I'm 7 months pregnant so I am not quite as agile as I normally am. That's why it was SO fantastic to be in a location close to all kinds of public transportation. We were one block from a tram that took us to the downtown area in 15 minutes and two blocks from a train that was 2 stops away from the airport. When I looked at other reviews, many people […] complained that the hotel was small. It is smaller by American standards, but still plenty big for me to navigate around easily. The bed we had was a queen size and we were thrilled that it was a single bed (instead of two twins pushed together like many European hotels). The staff was very helpful with directions and even allowed us to check in early. West Zurich is apparently the up and coming area, so there's tons of restaurants and bars around. (The bakery around the corner is AWESOME!) We were on the 3rd floor on a Saturday night, so there was some noise, but not the level that some people have complained about. The windows are new and very well insulated so they do a good job of blocking a lot of that noise. Overall, we couldn't have been more satisfied especially since we got the room for a steal! It only takes 5 tram stops from the main station so the location is not too bad. However, a bar is next to it so it is very noisy at night. I have no choice but turn on the air-con under 13 degree C. Riktigt bra läge om man gillar mer hippa områden med cyklar, öl och lite industrikänsla. Dock en bit in till stan, går spårvagnar och bussar men vi gick på 20 minuter. Bra internet! Runt hörnet ligger kalastrevlig badplats..

Das Hotel Senator ist im Nord-Westen der Stadt gelegen. Die Umgebung bietet Restaurants und eine gute Anbindung an das Verkehrsnetz. So weit, so gut. Was allerdings mehr als störend ist sind die sehr schlecht Lärmisolierten Fenster. Hat man ein Zimmer das zur Seite Heinrichstrasse gelegen ist, kann von Ruhe und erholsamem Schlaf auch unter der Woche […] keine Rede sein. Straßenlärm, das gegenüber gelegene und sehr gut besuchte Kino, die ständig fahrende Straßenbahn unter Tags und CARGO Transporter der Bahn in der Nacht...alles hört sich an als würden sämtliche Dinge im eigenen Zimmer passieren. Außerdem wird das Zimmer durch eine Fußbodenheizung beheizt die sich leider nicht selbst regulieren lässt. Saunaalarm! Alles in allem hätte ich mir für Preis (Frühstück nicht inklusive!!!), Lage und Kategorie (immerhin 4 Sterne) mehr erwartet! Read more

Das Hotel an sich ist in Ordnung und sauber und auch nicht weit vom Bahnhof bzw. der Stadt entfernt. Die Zimmer sind nicht sehr gross aber ausreichend. Das Bad eher klein. Die Zimmer haben einen Balkon und Aircondition. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Der einzigste Nachteil ist ein bischen die Lage.
