"A disappointing hotel experience"
This is no 4 star hotel. Neighborhood charmless, close to major routes confluence. Twin beds with sharp wood corners hidden by bed cloth ensures a painful collision. Advertisement of additional space in room a myth - just the usual limited space all hotel rooms have for armchair (next to drafty AC) and desk w bar. Well away from the city center. "If you want to see bed bugs stay at Hotel Senator"
Stayed there for one night. Woke up at 3 in the morning finding some bugs on my pillow, under the bed it was full of bedbugs. Receptionist offered another room, agreed to stay in another room since they would still charge for the night if we would have checked out. Verry disaponting. "Senator is to be avoided"
The hotel is next to a major road construction project and unbelievable noise starts at 8am. Staff has an attitidue. Location is one block from prostitutes in an industrial looking neighborhood. This hotel has at least two stars too many.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Vi har netop været i Zürich og boet på SENATOR, det har vi gjort mange gange. Dette er blot vor sidste. Standarden er blevet mærkbart ringere, men det værste er dog den utrolige larm fra gæster – uge mennesker – uden for et natværshus, som er nabo til hotellet.
