Great hotel location in Zurich---10 minute walk from main train station. Surrounded by great restaurants. Fair value---still expensive (it's Zurich). No bar or restaurant in hotel. You don't need one though as ones are nearby.

The Zurich Bristol is recently renovated, clean, and very conveniently located near the Hauptbahnhof (main train station). The rooms are clean, neat, and generally comfortable. The bathroom is clean and had LOTS of water pressure (although a very small shower, like most European hotels.) We were on the 1st floor, so there was quite a bit of street noise, […] but they had electric hurricane style shutters on the window that kept most of the noise out when closed. The breakfast wasn't great, but was adequate. Hotel staff was friendly and attentive as needed. My only real complaint was that the mattresses were pretty low quality (felt springs jabbing me at times). I would definitely stay again for the price/cleanliness/location package. Read more

Hotel was very conveniently located near the train station. Also, we were able to get a shuttle bus to airport at the hotel. Room had a nice balcony and plenty of room.

Just a very short walk from the train station, just down the street from the Altstadt, old town lined with cobblestone streets, shops and cafes. The triple room was quite spacious with a balcony, considering the location and price. Beds were comfortable and clean. Breakfast was typical. Staffs could be a bit more friendly and consistent in providing information to guests.

booked this hotel due to no rooms available in Freiburg. But it was a nice and comfortable hotel with a great restaurant for lunch and dinner. Breakfast was included in the room rate with a good spread of the usual breads, cold cuts, and cereals and pretty good soft/hard boiled eggs. The hotel is pretty near to the Highway-5 and you will need to have […] a car to go in-out to Freiburg(15min), Europa Park in Rust(15min) and Strasbourg(1.5hr). the best thing about hotel bristol was its central location. walking distance to the central station, old town and the zurich lake. That also means that there are plenty of cafes and restaurants in easy access all the time. The standard 4 persons room was quite small for 4 adults, but it was clean and bright.

Good location close to the main station and within walking distance of the Europcar so we could return our hire car and then catch the train to Milan. Room was spartan but was clean and comfortable, more like a hostel than a hotel but it was the location and price that made this attractive for us. Buffet breakfast was fair, nothing spectacular, basically […] cold which was not good for a cold winters day start. The reception was a one man show effective but not really welcoming. We always travel with tea coffee and soup and two plastic cups as most rooms don't always supply these facilities. The room is clean and receptionist is nice. Receptionist politely told us to search the internet for information about Zurich.The furniture is basic. Should have brightly colored bedsheets and curtains. Could have some decorations on the wall. It makes people happy.

nicely located.Breakfast with a fair variety of food items, mainly cold-cut ones. Good enough to start off the day. The room is clean and tidy, though we found the bed/pillow too soft. A reasonably cheap hotel recommended for those who just want to sleep.

The hotel room for a family of four (room 301) was large, comfortable, very clean and commodious.

Great location. We stay here everytime we fly out of Zurich. It is very close to the main train station. Rooms were renovated a few years ago and, although plain, are very comfortable. Only drawback is no airconditioning, but that only makes a difference on days that are extremely hot.

Gostei de tudo no hotel. Boa localização, pessoal prestativo, simpático e educado. Todavia, o café da manhã poderia ser um pouco mais variado (mas para mim não foi problema) e no primeiro dia não limparam meu quarto. Tirando isso, o hotel é excelente. Voltaria para lá quantas vezes fosse a Zurique.

Die Übernachtung vom 6. zum 7.5. 2011 war wunderbar. Das Zimmer war ruhig, vom Bahnhof schnell erreichbar und in der Innenstadt. Der Service bei der Ankunft und Abfahrt und am Frühstücksbuffet war sehr freundlich. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber.
