"Great Location - Shame about the Hotel"
The Bristol Hotel is very well located within an easy walk to Zurich's Hauptbahnhof and the Alt Stadt. While the Bristol's position is ideal other aspects of the hotel were very disappointing. The room itself was clean, but quite cramped and the bathroom, which was very new and well equipped, was tiny with a particularly small shower. There were no […] tea or coffee making facilities within the room and the buffet breakfast, which was adequate, was very uninspiring. The hotel is not airconditioned and as the weather was very warm (July) we had to sleep with our windows open with a portable fan operating. As our room was located on the Ist floor at the front of the hotel the traffic noise, even at night, was unbelievable.
