"New & great"
The breakfst was excellent and a large nice area. The indoor pool looked nice. Wish I had brought a suit. The rooms were immaculare. It was an easy trip to Halifax. It was a nice quiet area with places to eat near by. The front desk staff was always helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"A great place to stay for the family"
Overall, I was pleased with the Hotel and what it had to offer. It was very clean, the staff at the front desk were very nice, the beds were very comfortable and it was convenient to have breakfast right at the hotel. A couple of noteworthy points though. If you are going on a weekend, be prepared for kids...lots of kids! The 1 night we stayed there(Saturday), […] my 2 kids were unable to swim as there was an outside birthday party happening at the same time and the hot tub was not so hot, it was more lukewarm. "shopping galore"

"Waterslide Supervision"
I loved staying here, the location was great. My only complaint is that the waterslide is unsupervised. I had two young children with me and had to take them away from the waterslide because there were kids pushing them on the stairs, not waiting enough time between riders and running down the water slide. I know they can't post a person in the pool […] area, but maybe a video moniter and pop in if it seems a little wild. "an excellent stay for families"
My family stayed here for one week while visiting Halifax. The area is newly developed (the hotel is almost new) and is convenient to shopping and restaurants and a movie theatre. Great location, just off the highway and an easy run into Halifax by car. The staff were all courteous and some were extremely friendly. The waterslide and pool were awesome […] for the kids! The room was very clean but not huge and I was surprised that there was no mini-fridge. Our plug-in cooler served us well. Excellent beds and black out drapes made for great sleeps! Breakfast was quite good although finding a seat was sometimes a challenge. Parking was secure and well lit and entrances were convenient. We returned to your hotel because of its comfort and all the many, many wonderful attributes to your rooms, and overall service, etc. However, there were two items that were disconcerning. First, the pull out bed seemed to have been extremely worn and wasn't as comfortable as our last stay. Second, although understandable with the level of children […] attending the hotel, it was disappointing to not be able to actually swim in the pool many tmes due to the large number of children in the pool. The location of your hotel is good if you drive (we don't, we have epilepsy, but have pets that we were able to have in your hotel). For those that don't at least there is a bus stop on the main street, lots of shops around and a Tim Hortons. All your restaurants around your hotel are horrible! Best Hampton we've stayed at! Large, spacious rooms, friendly staff, and fun slide/pool for the kids. Although, my kids said they would have preferred the slide to go directly into the pool.Those with younger children will appreciate that it doesn't. Breakfast is so so.
