"Old hotel....as not been updated"

"A little out of the way for Halifax sightseeing"
Traveling with two teenagers means WIFI is a must! It did not work for a few days of our stay. Although I am not completely tech savvy, I do know it shouldn't take almost 48 hours to get WIFI service up and running - even on a long weekend.Staff did not seem too concerned even after we complained.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Park Place Ramada in Dartmouth"

"Park Plaza Ramada Dartmouth, very comfortable"
We recently spent 3 days at the Park Plaza Ramada in Dartmouth while touring Halifax and were really pleased. Our room was comfortable and exceptionally clean, especially the bathroom. The hotel had enough amenities for a shorter-term stay: a restaurant, a fitness centre and a pool with water slide for the kids. It is very close to Halifax such that […] you can get in for site seeing with relative ease. There is not a lot within walking distance although there is a Tim Horton's close by for coffee etc. The hotel restaurant is decent although a bit pricey. Breakfast was included with our room.
