The Villa we stayed in was very nice. It was large and roomy and it had a view of the golf course.

The experience was good and the suite was nice. However, there were a few things that detracted from the quality we expected. First, there were small things that were broken --- for example, the toilet paper holder wasn't tightened and would fall off. It's HUGE !! That's the first thing that we noticed!! Reunion Resort has many golf courses and many communities with different types of rooms, apartments and villas. I really loved the view from our apartment. Green all the way! It was also spacious and well equipped with kitchen appliance, washer/dryer and cleaning materials. Loved the water park! […] My kids couldn't get enough of the pools, the different slides and many activities. My notes on Reunion, they need to upkeep the rooms….. and it's kind of far away from the attractions and shopping malls, 10 minutes more driving. The hotel overall was great. service was courteous and prompt. Our beds were VERY comfortable, the 1 bedroom condo super spacious and nicely decorated and the grounds are beautiful. Our room leaked at the balcony door frame quite badly. the carpet got very wet as it dripped continuously for hours. It was our last night so we just reported it and left it at that so I do not know how they would have handled the situation had it been at the beginning of our stay. therefore I can not really comment on that part. Also the beautiful balcony balustrades are hollow (cost cutting in construction I assume)...which is not an issue really unless it rains and then you can hear the rain loudly as it hits the surface all night long! If you want to be close enough to Disney World and yet be far enough to enjoy some quiet and tranquility, this is the best 5 star resort you can choose. Everything is included and you are not surprised by all the extras that other hotels charge. Internet is included, parking is free, resort fee is included and there is water park on site. For example, whenever I turned off the fan in the bathroom, the fire alarm went off! And we had to go to the fuse box to reset the circuit. At the outside terrace of the restaurant, the spot lights were right above the ceiling fans; therefore, we had a strobing effect on our food, which was unbearable at some points. Fantastic amount of space and convenience at this venue. We used it as a spring board for visiting the theme parks, so we did not spend much time on property. Loved having the full kitchen, though. On the downside, the bed mattresses were too firm: the firmest of any place I've slept, and I travel a lot.

Very nice, well-landscaped golf-centric resort intended for families with townhome timeshares and personal residences on site. Key positives were resort beauty and amenities. Negatives included a mechanical problem with the keys, which caused us to have no keys for over 24 hours. This is obviously an isolated event. The rooms could have been equipped […] to include HDTV beyond local stations (there are plenty of TVs) and to include On Demand movie service. All business-style hotels beyond 3 stars have these amenities now, so there is no excuse for Reunion not to have them. Also, the service staff were very efficient, but the house we stayed in was aging and there was black mildew in the shower. A place like this is a bit hit or miss when it comes to the rental, so keep that in mind. The only other negative is the relatively remote location, which we didn't mind but could be an issue for some. Read more

We had a 2 bedroom villa that comfortably slept 6 (one king, 2 full size beds, and a living room couch that converted into a bed. The room itself was very nice; everything was extremely clean and looked brand new. There were 3 HD TVs, 2 bathrooms, and a great balcony view to go with it, as well as a full kitchen and a combined dining/living room. The disappointing part of our stay was that the service was below average for a place that's supposed to be a 4-5* resort. Except for the doormen and check-out staff that were both excellent, the rest of the folks we interacted with left us with a bad taste in our mouths. The room key making machine was broken so we had to be escorted to our rooms; when the keys were ready, they were not delivered to us, but we were called to come fetch them ourselves. We asked for an accommodation for a family member that was disabled; guest services said they'd 'look into it and call us back;' they never did, and this happened twice in the same stay. Lastly, the housekeeping staff rang our doorbell twice before 9am, wondering if "we were ready to check out"... lovely to be woken up by that while you're on vacation, huh? I emailed all of these complaints to the management several days ago and they have yet to respond back. Once this chain trains their staff on how to provide good service, it'll be a much better place. Read more

The hotel grounds were beautiful and vast! Our room was nicely decorated, spacious and very clean. We stayed in the house complex closest to the facility entrance and not the main hotel which was fine for us since there was a pool there as well. For dinner we headed up to the main hotel and afterwards enjoyed a nice long walk back to our room. The path […] is along the golf courses which are lovely and extremely well kept. This is a beautiful resort in a gated community. It has many Villas of all different levels of amenities. I booked this resort for a five star villa. When I went to check in I was told we were staying at a villa far away from the main resort near the main road and by the entrance gate to the property. I explained to the front desk that I had booked […] this resort for its advertisement as a five star Villa. The villa was advertised as having granite counter tops, stain less steel appliances etc. The villa we were going to be staying in had none of these upscale amenities. We were told for more money we could stay in the main resort. After discussion with the front desk we were given a villa in the main reunion Building. We usually stay at ritz carlton or four seasons. Resort and room were very nice. Room was not ready when we arrived at 3 pm and was still not ready at the 4pm check-in time. Front desk staff didn't seem concerned even though resort seemed almost empty. Only after pushing did they call housekeeping to get us a room. Couple of problems with housekeeping. Tv remote didn't work when we arrived and it […] took a couple of hours for them to come change the batteries. Problem with circuit breaker popping in the middle of the night and setting off a buzzing alarm in the bathroom. No one available till morning to fix the lights but they did stop the buzzing. The service was pretty poor on relation to basic things such as room service and assistance with transportation and taxis. However the 3 bedroom apartment we stayed in was generously sized and comfortable and the pools and watermark were great for kids.

In diesem Areal könnte man einen tollen Club-Urlaub machen, denn man braucht wirklich gar nichts und kann ALLES dort machen, aber: Wer bitte will das schon in Orlando? Das Personal war außergewöhlich nett und zuvorkommend, so etwas haben wir bis jetzt in keinem 5-Sterne-Hotel erlebt. Urgieren mussten wir allerdings weil der Wasserhahn in der Küche extrem […] stark leckte und der Techniker erklärte uns, dass sie bereits einige Küchen aus diesem Grund renovieren (!)...unsere war da halt leider noch nicht dran! In der Küche verwenden sie Gas zum Kochen und normalerweise stört mich das nicht, aber als ich kochte ging die Flamme aus und Gas strömte weiter aus! War ein bisschen unheimlich, da wir es erst bemerkten, als das ganze Zimmer schon nach Gas roch. Das Zimmer an sich war toll und der Wasserpark für Kinder ein Traum, da auch relativ wenige Gäste dort waren. Sogar unser 6-jähriger durfte ohne Probleme golfen und das fanden wir besonders nett und freundlich (passiert in Ö nicht!!) Das Hotel liegt ein wenig ausserhalb und es ist daher immer eine 25 min. Autofahrt notwendig um zum Internaional Drive zu gelangen. Ein sehr schönes empfehlenswertes Hotel und wir werden höchstwahrscheinlich wieder hinfahren. Read more

Als papa een paar uur gaat golfen, kunnen mama en de kids het zwempark in, of zelfs de kinderen achterlaten bij de begeleiding, of bij tennisles. Maar... wij zijn geen golfers, dus de golf entourage was niet aan ons besteed. Waarschijnlijk zijn er dus betere hotels voor niet-golfers om hun geld te besteden. Voor golfers echter, lijkt het mij perfect […] - en je kinderen zijn onder de pannen, als je dat wilt. Ontbijt, als je dat niet in het clubhouse wil nuttigen, is prima bij een franse chef/golf pro aan de andere kant van de snelweg: in het winkelcentrum van champion's gate. Daar is ook een supermarkt.
