if you walk bare feet on the carpet, your feet becomes almost black . Do nto recomment it. TV remote did not work. Receptionit was frindley adn nice. No towels in the room. we asked for some adn we are a family of 5, we got only 3 towels. No Hand or wash towels.

The staff were initially very friendly but when concerns (such as an unworking TV) was reported, there was no real effort in trying to help. More apathetic or "don't bother me" attitude instead of a helpful or apologetic attitude. The room has dirt on the walls and any flat surface. There were no towels nor wash cloths. When you informed the front desk they would say "we'll bring some right up" but they wouldn't. So you'd have to go back down to the office (we were on the 3rd floor - no elevator) and ask again and they would hand you 1 towel and/or wash cloth and say they would […] bring more later - which they didn't. I read the reviews before booking this place and it must have been friends of the owner that posted the favourable comments about the place. The last time I stayed there was in 2000, things have not changed much. I found the sheets dirty and I had my concerns that it was not changed after the last occupants as I found dirt under the covers.

old grab motel, like other motels in niagara area.. pool was not open altough we were there in hot beginning of June. This was the Worst Customer service I have ever had in any hotel. People were smoking weed next room with the door open. and hotel staff was cool about it. Bathroom was horrible, even a $20 cheap motel will have a better bathroom than that! and the hotel is about 1 mile from the falls.

The hotel staff were very polite and friendly and even were flexible enough that they agreed to hold a package at the front desk for me that a friend in the city was picking up while we were out of the room. Downside was there were holes in the walls, blood stains on the bed box-spring, hardly any wall outlets, phone just laying on the floor, the drapes […] and rods were falling off the walls, there was no hairdryer so I had to wait around an hour for my hair to dry before leaving the room, and the room was colder than the fridge/freezer was. The location was very good it was walking distance from Clifton Hill, the falls, the casino and many other great options. If you are going there simply to get drunk and pass out, do it, it's the cheapest hotel for the proximity to the bars. This hotel was a good location. About two blocks from skylon tower and there was nice little path that led down to the falls. Plenty of places to eat nearby. The room was clean, but it smelled like chewing tobacco. Don't expect to get a refrigerator, phone, or coffeemaker like they say you will. Staff was friendly but the Inn lacked anything that would make someone say "Nice". Was taken up to the room by the man at the front desk, who then inspected the room in front of me. Of the 5 lightbulbs in the room 4 needed to be replaced, but he returned and only replaced 2 of those 4. The room had a old cigarette smell as if it hadn't been smoked in […] for a year or so, but non-smoking was requested. When I asked for a non-smoking room he mis-interpreted me (due to language barrier) and recommended we take the smoke alarm off the wall to smoke in the room. This is a huge by-law offence and a heavy fine. Between the plumbing issues and having to make 4 request to get it fixed ignored, to non working tv or WiFi, to the grout of the bathroom being quite stained, to the other clients yelling or being sick very loudly in the morning, to the difficulties to ensure having a parking spot, this place did not live up to any expectation. When I came to the Admirall Inn, I got the feeling that some improvements was in progress, therefore i extended my stay with one more night. I did notice the room has been painted recently, with a very big brush covering more than it was suposed to. And unfortunately the mould below the aircon was not painted. I had payed for a room with jacuzzy, but I got no stopper, until the last evening, I just tried the jacuzzy and relized it made the hole hotel shake. At 1am, my last night, in a nearby room, a party started in their Jacuzzy, no doubt the girls had fun and the boys even so. When the pump for the jacuzzy was turned on, that were the end of that nights slleep for many guests, one family checked out and left the hotel. REMOVE the jacuzzy!! This hotel is not constructed for jacuzzies. When I would plug in my PC for chargeing, I had to push the cupbord a few centimeters, what I saw on the carpet was not just dirt, it was many years (....)! The only reson this hotel can stay allive is the location. The pricelevel would be OK if the Hotel was properly maintained, but remember breakfeast for 2 in a nabouring restaurant is minimum 25$ out of the pocket.The free parking....you can park next door for 5-10$. If the hotel will be well maitained and the jacuzzies removed, I might come back. I forgot to mention the pool is nice clean. OK if you don't want/need an average priced hotel and can put up with a few things. It is cheaper however the hotel is run down, unclean, and the staff are not helpful. For example, our room was cleaned but no towels were left. Asked for towels at the front desk (which is not 24 hrs. - opens late, closes early - and our room the first night did not […] have a phone OR a towel rack) who said in 5 minutes they'd be delivered. In 15 minutes we walked over and he said the machine was broken...The same man told us the desk closed at 1am. We saw them close at 10pm. Luckily we had gotten our towels from a lone cleaning lady before we left until later. Overall, I was a disappointed. Hotel location was exactly what was required. We knew this was no five star venue and were not expecting it. Unfortunately, the room was not well serviced - no towels and toilet paper upon arrival - and looked dingy. We told the front desk when we returned after our excursion - it took over an hour to have the towels and toilet paper delivered. On the […] positive side they did let us get into our room much earlier which meant we did not have to leave our luggage locked up in the car while we went on our way. I would recommend this motel if only for one night stay like us as it was convenient and not expensive - no additional parking or internet charges. Went for a girls weekend out - the room they brought us to was not fully serviced (no pillows, towels and the garbage was still in the bin). We called down for service and they came up and moved us to another room. We had 2 queen beds, both of which had cigarette burns in them (both on the covers and the pillows). We even noticed cigarette burns in […] the shower curtain! Our toilet made a strange sound for 15min after you flushed and the bathroom sink was clogged. Hotellets beliggenhed er rigtig god (tæt på byen og vandfaldene), men det kompenserer ikke helt for dets dårlige standart (slidt og gammelt) og den dårlige rengøring (klistrede gulvtæpper, brune, klistrede døre og karme, beskidt kaffemaskine og køleskab osv). Der manglende f.eks. håndklæder på værelset og vi måtte spørge 3 gange før vi fik et tyndt […] slidt håndklæde hver. Om aftenen opdagede vi, at sengetøjet i den ene seng ikke var rent. Efter 5 kvarter blev det skiftet. Ellers var personalet venlige. Vi havde glædet os til poolen, mens dens beskidte bund og vand afholdte os fra at hoppe i den.
