"Would not go back"
The only good think about this hotel was the location. The staff had no patience. The room was small and old, the TV was terrible, very few options of channels. The mattres was hard and the pillows not good. The AC was noisy to the point it woke us up in the night. It is bad there is no internet access in the room, but even when I asked the staff in […] the front desk for help me print something they were could not help me and said they do not have internet access either. "Rip off hotel"
Charged for parking, 9 bucks a day. Other surrounding lots were cheaper and most other hotels did not charge for parking. Rip off! The pool was so small my foot barely fit in it and it was so cold that even on a hot day it was to cold to go in. Plus people walking down the road or at the restaurant could see you. They also charged me tons of extra money. […] Had 4 people two boys, two girls and they wanted 50 a night per person for anyone over 2 people. It had two queen beds and four towels. I guess I really wasn't renting the room, otherwise I would have been able to acutally use the room to its capability. I could understand charging for a 5th person since there is no bed for them, but why for four when the room is built for four. Brutal stay... I wanted to meet up with my friend from Niagara so I told them to come up to our room for a drink before going out for dinner.. The people at the front desk said he couldn't come up! "Travel LodgeHotel by the Falls - Filthy!"
Front desk was friendly, regretably that was about the only good experience we had at the hotel. The room was not vacuumed properly, it smelled, coffee maker was disgusting, I had to wash it out (which I normally do when I go to hotels), then run a cycle and the filth that came out made me nauseous. When I went downstairs to ask for another coffee bag, […] I was told that I had to pay $1.50 for any extra! The pool was saltly and cloudy, and the foam from the soap in the hot tub had dirt all over.
