Situated in Banff and offering easy access to skiing and other winter recreation, Brewster's Mountain Lodge is close to Canada House Gallery, Mount Norquay Ski Resort, and Central Park. Also nearby are Cave and Basin National Historic Site and Canadian Ski Museum West.

They gave us a basement room with a view of the parking garage and it was very noisy as the entrance and exit to the parking garage was next to our room. Very satisfied with the hotel's services. Breakfast is fresh and hot with daily fresh cut fruits and soft bread. Very clean environment. Helpful and friendly staff throughout the hotel. "Excellent location. Limited parking."
I stayed at Brewster's the second weekend in December. Check-in was quick and efficient. Free wi-fi was convenient. The underground parking was also convenient when it was not full. Friday afternoon there were available spots, but none available Saturday evening. I ended up not having to pay the daily parking fee so it wasn't a big deal, but it's something […] to consider if you're bringing a car. Location was great--very close to bars, shops, restaurants, but not directly on the main street. I was pleased with the room itself, which was clean, spacious, and comfortable. My only complaint about the room is you can hear everything that is happening in the hallway. There was a large crack (4 cm) under the door, and my room was directly across from the ice machine, so I ended up stuffing pillows under the door to help with the noise, but it didn't really help. If you go to bed early or if you're a light sleeper, bring ear plugs or your iPod to drown out the hallway noise! Breakfast was lackluster. There was an assortment of bread and cereal, not much else. It was a bit of a maze to get to the breakfast room, but there were signs that clearly marked the way. The difficulty was getting back to my room! Brewster's Mountain Lodge is conveniently located in the center of Banff. You can walk to many of the shops and restaurants in the area. The staff is friendly and helpful. It was handy having a complimentary breakfast in the hotel each morning so we could eat and get on our way. The rooms need updating. Carpets are worn, horrid wool blankets on the bed, loud street noise, no ac - which we expected, but when we requested a quieter room, we were told the hotel was full, although the vacancy sign was displayed the entire 3 days! Excellent location...easy access to all downtown Banff shopping, restaruants and sites. Convenient underground parking provided at only $5/day. Enjoyed the continental breakfast. "Family Holiday in Mountains"
We enjoyed our stay at Brewster's Mountain Lodge. Room was one of the largest on our floor and the extra small couch was great for our 8 year old to make a fort and sleep on. The beds didn't have fitted sheets so every morning we woke to find we were lying on the matress which we didn't like. We also weren't happy that we got a call from the front desk […] waking us regarding our extra night stay that previous the shift hadn't communicated or marked in their system. Also dry suana never heated up hot enough so found that was a waste. Parking is an extra fee that wasn't documented anywhere and a surprise when we checked in, not to mention how tight the parking garage is. We recently enjoyed 3 nights in Banff, AB at Brewster's. The room was clean, the staff friendly and courteous and the amenities fairly adequate. The rustic decor with the pine furniture throughout the room and the hotel was quaint. The cold continental breakfast was fine, but nothing special. Underground parking was at an extra cost, but that was nominal. […] The hotel's location right in downtown Banff was very convenient. Channel selection on the TV at night was limited and reception was poor. Loss of internet availability on the morning of checkout was annoying, but presumably could have been corrected had we pressed the issue. This was the only hotel on our trip that didn't have a mini-fridge and that was inconvenient. Nonetheless we did enjoy our stay and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. I stayed with my family (wife and 2 young kids) for one night. The place is very well located, clean and well decorated. There are 2 problems with this hotel. First is that you can hear your the people upstair of you walking very clearly.
