Mountainside Lodge - A Shell Vacations Resort is located in the center of Whistler Village, B.C., less than a block from Whistler/Blackcomb gondolas and the unique shops, restaurants and renowned nightlife of this European-style pedestrian village. Alpine skiing, cross-country skiing and snowboarding are available in the winter, and hiking, biking trails and white-water rafting are available in the spring and summer.
Hotel Features.
This five-story, non-smoking hotel offers boutique-style lodging in a traditional alpine ski-lodge atmosphere. The décor is contemporary and upscale yet casual. Fine Italian cuisine is featured at the on-site restaurant, the Trattoria di Umberto. The lodge has a year-round 35-foot outdoor heated pool and hot tub overlooking the ski area, as well as a 24-hour fitness center. Personalized spa services are available in the privacy of the guestrooms. Limited parking is available for a fee. Service amenities include a complimentary 24-hour business centre, 24-hour front desk, wireless Internet, grocery delivery, child care services and secure storage for sports equipment.

Guests can swim in the hotel's 11-meter (35-foot) heated outdoor pool, laze in the adjacent spa tub, or use the fourth-floor sauna.
The hotel is just one block from the base of the mountain and high-speed lifts accessing downhill ski runs on both Whistler and Blackcomb mountains. Lifts also operate during summer months and allow access to hiking trails and Whistler's famous Mountain Bike Park. Adventurous cyclists take the lift up and ride their bikes down numerous trails.
Within a few miles of the hotel are Whistler's three championship golf courses, including the Whistler Golf Club, which is three blocks away.

"Nice lodge, next to the Plaza"

"No stroller access"
There was no stroller access. Meanwhile there were about 20 stairs. No wheelchair access. Housekeeping came the first day and then I had to call everyday to get fresh towels and have the garbage removed. The room was super small.
