The staff was very friendly, that is where the complements end. The room decor was so confused retro/modern/woodsy which was the least of my concern after my first night there. There were no fitted sheets on the bed, but there were several hairs found when we arrived. My wife wouldn't even sleep under the blankets! There were several chips and dings barely worth a mention after all I've written, but thought everyone should know before booking a room. I read the reviews and thought it would be fine... it wasn't. We were pleasantly suprised when we showed up at this hotel for a spontaneous one night getaway in whistler. Cheapest hotel we could find online and worked out perfectly. Right beside the center of the village, which i loved. Also very close to a golf course . Our room also had a loft with attached patio, and a spacious downstairs. Loved my stay at the Adara...the staff was pleasant, the location was convenient, and the rooms were modern and sleek. The only negative I have is the small hot tub and closed pool (frozen over with ice). Other than that, I would definitely recommend this hotel!

This hotel was very clean and spacious. Service was excellent. We were given free parking but normally it's $20/night. Room was beautiful and worth the value. The only negatives are the walls attempt paper thin, the elevator is terrifying, the pool deck needed maintenance. Room service breakfast was awful. And late at night, you are next to two loud […] bars so you can hear the humming of music. Overall, if I were to stay in Whistler again I'd likely stay here. Read more

Our room was right above a night club, so the loud music was on until late night. On top of that a bunch of drink kids were shouting in the hallway at 5:00 am. And I hate the valet parking! Every time you need something from your car, you have to go to the front desk to get my own car keys!

Really nice rooms. Friendly staff. Unfortunatly the hotel suites are situated right above a bar. We were there on a Friday and Saturday night and the music was so loud it was near impossible to sleep. Classic case of looks can be deceiving. It was old hotel that was renovated to give updated look. Maybe I am too picky to notice every little detail but here are couple things if I can mention. When I open the door to my room, it had university bachelor unit kind of scent which was very revolting. Dishwasher was still running with dirty dishes inside. […] Walls on the hallway are all chipped with some poor patching job. Some of the room decals have fallen off which was fixed by duct tape. There was a mystery stain on the sofa. Grouts on the shower booth had yellow mildew on some pot. There was only 1 bath rob in the room.
