"Nice place, near the middle of the stroll"
This hotel is nice overall. The room we had was on the 4th floor, facing away from Whistler/Backcomb mountain. The room felt a little cramped because it had: a small bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Very small place but perfectly fine. A jacuzzi type of bath tub in the room. I'm not sure if all rooms have it or not. I imagine that a room without […] it would have a much bigger bathroom. A nice kitchen: pretty much full size fridge with separate freezer on top. Perfectly functional (and rather new). An electric stove-top with a narrow dishwasher below. That was a nice surprise. The microwave was quite small and old / not very powerful. The kitchen had plates, glasses... everything you wound need up to an including a toaster, electric kettle, coffee maker, can openers... and a sink. So while we didn't plan to eat in the room, it was really nice to have the option. In order to keep the place clean (I suppose), any unclean dishes will be cleaned daily for fifteen. So beware and use the dishwasher or hand wash your own after breakfast to not be charged extra. (the dishwasher powder as well as handwash liquid, sponge, towels, drying rack... were all provided). Location: this is near the library and the museum (not the most likely places to use during a trip). So about a block or less from the main stroll with all the stores, roughly in the middle of it. A very good location in summer at least, I'm not sure how convenient (or not) that would be in winter. Very quiet. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"nice and quiet"
We stayed two nights in Whistler - the first night was in another hotel closer to the village - but it was too noisy - with people yelling and screaming until 2 am- This hotel was nice and quiet - but still very close to the village. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The parking spots were very tight so it was a little hard to find a spot where […] you could still get in and out of the doors of our SUV. But overall it was a nice stay. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The only complaint I had was that I had requested the 3 rooms be close together, but when we arrived, one was on a different floor and the two that were on the same floor were a long distance from each other. Also, the hallways were not air conditioned which made it very hot. Overall, the accommodations were great, price was right, and staff were very […] helpful and friendly. Stayed there only one night, but it seemed like a very nice hotel. Little handy kitchen, nice bathroom, fireplace. Staff was very friendly, we asked them billion questions, got answers for everything. Price was nice too. Really nothing to complain about. It's a cozy place. There's Italian restaurant Quatro on the first floor. maybe the view could be […] better, but it was not a big deal for me. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
We were in Banff during the flooding in June. Wound up spending an extra day as all roads were closed. The staff was very accommodating and tried to help with highway information. Because of the rain and the distance the hotel is from town it meant more driving to get anywhere but that would not be a problem in nice weather.Genuine Expedia guest review
"great place to relax after exhausting day"
Its a small cottage hotel but nicely well kept. Everything inside room was neat and clean.Genuine Expedia guest review
"First trip to Whistler"
Location is good, though a good 10-15 minute walk to the slopes with equipment on. The hot tub was great and fit me and my husband comfortably; my husband being 6ft tall. The room is very clean and the customer service was excellent. The negative was the wi-fi being spotty. It was frustrating everyday that we could not connect throughout the day/ev […] ening. "Good hotel, great staff, little room for clothes"
My husband and I have stayed in many hotels. This time we went on a skiing trip. The only problem I had with the room was that there was not enough storage. We had a small closet and three drawer night stand. We had no room for our clothes and ski wear (which takes up a lot of room). We just kept everything in our suitcases. The kitchenette was great. […] Very functional and useful, especially when the weather was bad to go outside. The staff was kind and professional. The maintenance worker was SUPERB. He went above and beyond because when we first checked in the coffee pot wasn't working, the fireplace and tv was not working. He did a couple of adjustments and everything was great. The hotel is in a great location. They do have a ski room. If you are new to skiing or boarding, I suggest you stay in a hotel closer to the lifts. You will have to walk about 5-10 minutes to the lifts and it can be slippery. All in all, this hotel was great for what we needed it for. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Overall a nice hotel"
I had a nice experience at the Whistler Pinnacle Hotel. The staff where friendly and the room was nice. The pull-out beds are not comfortable, so if you end up having to sleep on one, don't expect a good nights sleep. The beds themselves where nice and firm, and so where comfortable for me. I'd stay here again (and probably will.)Genuine Expedia guest review
This hotel was easy to find. The town is pretty small so just about everything was in walking distance. Underground parking for your vehicle with carts to help carry your luggage upstairs. 2 working elevators. No free breakfast. Breakfast is $16 CAD. 10 minutes walk to the ski lifts of both Blackcomb and Whistler. Free internet and it was fast. Needs […] more trashcans. Housekeeping was very good. We had 3 guys in our group and the 2 queen beds were fine. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice location, clean room, and helpful staff. Cooking in room can create unpleasant smells that permeate the hallway to other rooms. Parking charge of $15 dollars. No breakfast but lots of places to eat in teh village.Genuine Expedia guest review
My stay in Whistler was fantastic! My best friend an I decided to take a girls weekend and we chose the Pinnacle in Whistler as our hotel. The location was fabulous and so was the staff. The pool was warm enough to enjoy but cool enough to swim laps in before enjoying the poolside lounge chairs. Got a great deal for two nights in a Deluxe Studio Suite. The staff is very friendly, and the location is convenient to most anywhere in Whistler. This is an older facility, which shows in the age of the appliances and the bathroom, which was microscopic. "Comfortable room/service - fit for light cooking"
Staff was very friendly and we were given a corner suite on the top floor with a view of the blackcomb mountains overlooking the pool. While this may not be a new place, it was kept very well and everything was functional. Loved the jacuzzi tub :-) However, if you are planning to cook there, please make sure you understand that the vent does not take […] the smoke outside, rather it just blows it back on top of your head. I learned the hard way as I heated the pan and when attempting to sear my lovely rib-eye steaks, we got the smoke alarm going and the room was marinated with that smell for hours! So if you're planning to cook, steaming and not using butter/oil would be preferred. I love cooking and because of this, I was limited in what I was planning to make. They do have most of everything you need for cooking and dining but I did bring my own knife and base ingredients like oil, salt, pepper, etc. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Whistler Pinnacle-good value for Whistler"
The reason I didn't give it a five was because it is starting to show wear and I like having more room in the bathroom sink area to put makeup, toothpaste etc. Overall, for Whistler, it was probably a good value. Bed was very comfortable, a nice view, walking distance to the village, nice kitchenette which cut down on the cost of food, had a balcony […] but was little cold to sit on, in room whirlpool tub. They provided comfy bath robes and large bath towels for use after the whirlpool. It was close to the bus stops and free shuttle. It was also close to a large IGA store. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Whistler is a beautiful area and we enjoyed our visit. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"All the needed amenities, with fantastic staff"
We chose this hotel for the location, along with the fact that it had a kitchenette and a jacuzzi tub in the living room. The hotel was fairly basic, but totally met our needs. And the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. We got in one night around 10pm and had a major craving for fruit pie with ice cream, so the guy at the front desk […] did a little research and came back to us with the name of a few places that offered that! Craving satisfied! They even comped us the parking, which was a really nice touch. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Lovely Place to stay in Whistler"
This hotel is great for location, price, and nice amenities. Only complaint was the carpet was a bit dingy, our fireplace didn't function well, and would have liked an inside route to get to the hot tub, as walking out the front door of the hotel, to go back in on the other side of the hotel, to go back outside again to the hot tub is a little bit annoying. […] Otherwise, great place! Would stay again! Only other complaint was the cost of parking, $15 per day which was not disclosed prior to booking the hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Whistler Pinnacle Hotel.. Nice place to stay"
The location of this hotel is perfect. Not in the middle of village so you don't get the noise, but it is about a 3 minute walk to the action. It is the best of both worlds: peace and quiet when you want it yet close to the action if you want it. Room was a studio with a kitchen, which was nice to be able to cook your own meals. We had dinner in the […] room one night. The room was a bit warm unless you ran the a/c. It was around 80F outside when we were there. The fireplace even when off kicked out a lot of heat. Given the fact that most of the time it is not that warm, it probably wouldn't be an issue. The staff was very friendly and helpful. All in all, I would stay there again and would recommend it to others. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Nothing fancy, but the price was right and the location is excellent. 1 block out of the village, so it's not loud when the bars close, but easy to walk to everything. The front desk staff was extremely helpful & friendly.Genuine Expedia guest review

"excellent location; poor air conditioning"
Hotel is located centrally close to the main village walk and has a garage. Which is nice because it is difficult to find a parking place in central Whistler. It is an older hotel and the room was quite comfortable. But the air conditioning was not very good, especially when the sun is shining all day in the room, so it can be very stuffy.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"The Pinnacle Hotel in Whistler, BC"
This was a nice little hotel, close to ski lifts. The room was very nice, but the closets were too small, probably because of the kitchen area taking up some space. It should be mentioned that there was a guest laundry ($2 for a load) in the hotel, which came in very useful after a day of skiing.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great place to stay - very central, very friendly peaople at the reception"

the only issue that we had with our stay was that the top two floors were being renovated. The staff was great at making sure we were not disturbed by the noise. Nice place and pet friendly. Close to the main village. Only complaint is 10am check-out.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It's an excellent location and the staff is pretty good all around. They let us check in early, but we couldn't stay parked there for the next day which was a bit of a drag considering parking is very expensive in Whistler. The rooms are dated but clean. The top floor is especially nice because of the vaulted ceilings and we stayed in the deluxe suite […] which has the double soaker Jacuzzi. The fireplace would have been nice but it wasn't turned on - I guess because it was summer time (I must be crazy!). Beds were comfy and rooms were quite. Overall pleasant experience. Room was okay full fridge and stove were nice to have only issue was a very small bathroom and the tub was out in the bedroom so that was a bit odd. "Nice space right next to the village"
Lodge style hotel, decent bed, large bathroom, friendly staff, and close to village. The parking is a hidden charge of $17 you don't know you have to pay until you check out, but if you have to check out at 10am they will let you keep your car parked in the lot the whole day in case you want to hang around Whistler Village for the day.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel walking distance to Whistler Village"
The room contained everything a person would need including a large spa bath and fireplace. 1 block to Whistler Village and 3 blocks to a large supermarket. Everything is easy walking distance.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Enjoyed the stay"
Very short walk to the village - room was a little 'older' but comfy enough.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Overall ok for the price"
The room was very nice, especially the double jacuzzi tub and the kitchen with dishwasher. Fantastic location - quiet but very close to the village stroll, IGA etc. The balcony was nice but no furniture provided so we couldn't take advantage of it. Hot tub was nice but the pool is quite small. It would have been nice if it was open later than 10pm […] though. The hotel provided a positive experience overall, with good value for cost, but we did have a couple of concerns relating to accessibility for persons with disabilities - we had to request a remote for the DVD player to have close captioning as that is not included. It took 2 attempts to get one that worked and they then called us back 30 minutes later to see if they could come pick it up again (first night of 4 total). It was odd since they advertise including a DVD player but we then were questioned that we wanted to keep the remote throughout our stay, and that we might watch more than 1 DVD. The handicap parking spaces are also spread out in the parkade and not close to the elevator. Given that, I would have expected them to give directions upon check in, to ensure it's clear where they are (we advised them at the time). Other than the above, the staff were quite good.
