"Don't book this hotel!!"
The hotel staff was unfriendly and cold. The rooms were in need of upgrading. Sure they have new furnishings but no vents in the bathroom? The air conditioner made terrible noises, the ceiling was cracked and repaired poorly. I also did not see fire sprinklers. They charged extra for EVERYTHING, ugh. "Dated, tired hotel but centrally located"
Although this hotel is located in a centralized, convenient, and safe area, just blocks away from the Citadelle and Old Quebec, the actual hotel is old and tired. The lobby, rooms, and entire building are completely dated and need to be drastically remodeled! Because of the condition of the hotel, we feel it DOES NOT DESERVE A 4-STAR RATING. "Zentrale Lage, jedoch etwas heruntergekommen"
Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral in Quebec, direkt an der Ausgehmeile mit vielen Restaurants und Bars. Parking im hoteleigenen Parkhaus ist möglich aber teuer. Das Mobiliar im Zimmer ist alt, abgenützt und schmutzig. Die Zimmer sind nur mittelmässig sauber. Betten i.o. Wir waren zu viert und hatten ein Luxury-Doppelzimmer. Von Luxus war keine Spur, war […] sehr eng für vier Personen. Die Ausrüstung im Badezimmer, Minibar (Kaffee+Tee) war jedoch nur für zwei Personen vorgesehen. Erst nach mehrmaligem Nachfragen wurden die entsprechenden Gegenstände ins Zimmer gebracht. Das Restaurant im obersten Stockwerk bietet eine schöne Aussicht auf Quebec. Es ist aber sehr teuer. "Déception"
Nous avions loué une chambre «de luxe». Bien que la chambre fût correcte, je ne vois pas en quoi elle était «de luxe». Je voyage beaucoup et j’ai déjà logé dans des hôtels considérés moins prestigieux et qui étaient mieux lotis. Il faut payer le Wi-Fi si nous le voulons dans la chambre alors que, aujourd’hui, même dans les hôtels de moindre qualité […] reconnue, ce service est gratuit. Au Loew’s, il faut payer pour tout au point que nous nous sommes dit que nous n’allions pas respirer trop fort car on pourrait nous charger l’air qu’on respire. Le parking est très dispendieux. Le seul avantage que nous avons vu pour cet hôtel est sa situation dans la ville mais cet aspect est loin de compenser la désagréable impression que nous avons, lorsque nous quittons l’hôtel, de nous être fait avoir.
