My flight was cancelled in Toronto due to weather. Air Canada gave me a brochure with a phone number to call for a discounted hotel room but I was able... to find a better deal thru Hotels.com. My legs were very sore so when I searched for a hotel I made sure to find one with a hot tub. Upon arrival, there was a sign posted on the front desk that the pool area was closed for renovation. Needless to say I was very dissappointed but the hotel employee looked to see if he could find me a room with an over sized tub in the room but the hotel was completely booked and he could not accomodate that. I asked for a discount but he said that due to the fact I booked it thru Hotels.com and paid thru their site, he could not issue a discount. I called the 800# for Hotels.com com and their customer service agent was AMAZING! He apologized that Hotels.com did not have accurate information that the pool are was closed, he called the hotel to confirm this was true, and then returned on the line that he was putting a $50 credit on my account for my next reservation! UNBELIEVABLE! Before this incredible feat of customer service I would shop around on various websites for hotels but Hotels.com has just earned all of my business, all of the time!
