"Nice hotel - rules more important than service"
I had booked the room for 2 people coming from different directions. My friend arrived before me and I was held up. When I called the hotel to ask them if I give my credit card number if they would let him into the room already I was brushed off with RULES even by the manager, so no. "Stay at the Monte Carlo"
Arriving to the hotel, I thought to myself it looks new. The entrance looked nice with automatic doors opening up to you and a very unpleasant check in desk. I found I was doing the welcoming as soon as I made the approach to the desk. The check in process was very unpleasant, I felt like a criminal. Maybe I was treated differently cause I had tattoos […] on my arms? I have never been asked to put a deposit down on my credit card incase of anything gets stolen or broken, I would expect that at the four seasons not a 3 star at best hotel, then again made me think to check my card after to make sure I was not getting ripped off in this deal. "my stay"
The Monte Carlo Inn Airport Suited in Mississauga was a nice enough hotel. Probably beyond their control, I found a long black hair in the bath tub upon arrival and another one folded up in a face cloth. One thing that I was surprised about is that a hotel of this calibre would use dinky paper cups in their rooms and then charge a deposit for the use […] of real glasses and THEN charge you for washing the glass. Their buffet breakfast is misleading all it is basically coffee and toast. A continental breakfast. The room was ok for 2 people, but if you had any quests, there was no extra seating unless you utilized the bed. Otherwise the people were friendly and helpfull. "Not as expected"
The staff was friendly, and the hotel wasn't bad, but the bed was not as advertised. I booked three nights because hotels.com advertised they had sleep number mattresses, and that was not the case. "Price was right"

"Missing Knobs"
I would say that the bed of the hotel was very good. It was just a bit of a turn off when knobs were missing. The bathroom had a broken knob and the controls of the a/c and heater does not have a knob. It had the same condition of 2 star hotels I have stayed in. The breakfast was reallly poor. Not asking much but a boiled egg could make a difference. […] The staff were friendly and the location was close to fastfoods and gas stations. It is good for overnight stays just to rest from driving because it is close to the highway. Overall not worth the $96 I paid for. "Monte Carlo Inn - for those who have car in use"
Very good choice with price and quality. Location is not so convenient if you want to visit Toronto city center but if you have car and you don't have to visit city this hotel is almost perfect.
