"TIred location - needs a refresh"
Location to airport, typical HI amenities all good ... BUT this feels like an early entrant into Holiday Inn's 2006 modernization program because it feels over worn. I have stayed here in the past, and returned for the location, value, and terrific front desk staff. But while broken in works with casual shoes and the magnetic strip of a good credit […] card, for hotel lodging it fails to impress. This location lacks a good going over, top to bottom, with the cleaning in elevators, paint on room walls, filters on the HVAC unit, and such. "Holiday Inn Express Montreal - close to airport"
This was an acceptable hotel for a quick stay. However, the bed was too soft and the bathroom was set up a bit oddly - the sink blocked the access to the tub meaning I had to enter directly under the shower head. Also, there was a screw loose on the bathtub spigot, making it difficult to turn on the water. There was dirt or damage to the wall opposite […] the bed. On the plus side, there is a pretty good (and free!) hot breakfast and the hotel seems to have been updated somewhat, as there were hardwood floors in my room. "Clooose to airport. Awkward to get to"

"Almost a disaster"
I landed in Montreal and had to wait in the rain for a shuttle..they have no shelter in that area for some stupid reason. When I called the hotel Hotel's.com only gave their confirmation number so the hotel had no idea what I was talking about and said I had no reservation which ticked me off until I got there and found reservation under my name. Spacious, modern, clean & conveniently located close to the airport. Reception staff were extremely accommodating, offering to print off a map when asked for directions. The included Breakfast was varied & the coffee was delicious. Although there wasn't a water slide. The swimming pool was enjoyable as was the steam room, but the hot tub was not so […] hot.
