The power went out in our Room. We called the front desk, and informed them of the problem. They told us that the problem would be fixed. No one showed up, nor was the power reinstated. There was only one elevator for a hotel this size. Front desk staff less than helpful when asked, especially one named Melissa who I had to tell her three times that I don't speak French. The room was not as what was advertised by hotels.com. It was supposed to be over looking the Olympic stadium and surrounding parks. Instead I received a room over […] looking the ventilation-a/c system of the lower heighth portion of the hotel. Nor was the room as pictured in the ad. When mention to front desk staff, all they did was say "Sir,if you don't like your room, you can always file a complaint on our guest cards." the power went out in the bathroom area and I. Alled but nobody ever came up to look at it so I had to bath in the dark when I got back from my event and again in the morning. No I to not think the hotel nor the service was worth what I paid. Having been raised in the hospitality industry with my family owning several restaurants and bars, customer service is very vital. "Total disappointment! Frowning staff, old towels.."
Real disappointment! I booked this room because hotels.com indicated that it accomodates 5 people but we ended up paying extra for a cot when the room was so tight and nowhere to put it. Old towels are worn out like rags. I suggest that they replace their towels. No vent inside the toilet. Thank goodness at least the air conditioning works. Be prepared […] for unfriendly staff - no smiles at all. After driving 10 hours, we were greeted by a frowning lady at the reception. Not a good sign for our visit in Montreal. "service pour un problème avec la salle de bain"
En résumé un très mauvais séjour.Après que la première personne ait pris son bain à 21h30 le soir, le robinet de l'eau chaude est resté bloqué ouvert à fond de train. Je suis aller voir la réception( à 22h00 environ), pour de l'aide. Un commis est venu pour voir ce qu'il pouvait faire. Un fois qu'il s'est aperçus qu'il ne pouvait rien faire pour arrêter […] l'eau chaude de couler à pleine champlure, sa réponse à été de l'aisser la porte fermé de la salle de bain pour que nous réussisions à ne pas être trop déranger pour dormir. Ainsi la champelure d'eau chaude à couler à plein goulot et ce toute la nuit. À notre départ à 9h00 AM le lendemain.........oui oui l'eau coulait toujours et aucun réparateur n'est venu. Heureusement nou n'avions besoin que de la chambre que pour une journée. J'aurais bien apprécié qu'une nouvelle chambre nous soit assigné.....mais surtout.......question d'enronnement.......j,aurais pensé qu'un hotel aussi gros n'aurais pas lésigné sur un problème aussi important et aurait fait venir un réparateur. Imaginez l'eau chaude qui coule à pleine champelure entre 22h00 et 9AM le lendemain.....combien de litre d'eau dépensé et combien d'énergie en eau chaude.......P.S. oui 11hs après l'eau était toujours bouillante.
