An elevator ride from the hotel's lobby connects with Montreal's ever expanding underground city where one can go shopping in elegant boutiques, visit the theatre district and art galleries, or attend an exciting sporting event. The hotel is located nine miles from Dorval Airport.

Built for the 1967 World's Fair, this Hilton hotel has a large lobby with bar, restaurant, and conference rooms opening onto a rambling rooftop garden. The garden has a stream, waterfalls, trees, paths, and groups of resident ducks, all reminiscent of Québec's Bonaventure River. The outdoor swimming pool is open all year and is supervised by a lifeguard. An on-site health club offers cardio machines and free weights. Wireless internet is free in public areas.

The Hilton Montreal Bonaventure's outdoor swimming pool is open all year. In cooler weather, guests may enter the pool from an indoor area and swim outside. A lifeguard is on duty while the pool is open, from early morning to late night. A large sundeck borders the pool, and Bar Soleil offers poolside drinks and grilled lunches in summertime.

"Hôtel pour jeunes adultes qui sont sur le mode fête toute la nuit"
Nous avons été très déçu et nous ne retournerons pas au Hilton Bonaventure. D'une part, l'entretien de la chambre: moisissure évidente et dans un état avancé sur le plafond de la salle de bain au dessus de la tête de douche; moustiquaire de la fenêtre tordu; fenêtre rouillée; lit qui creuse. Une petite rénovation s'impose. D'autre part, l'impossibilité […] de dormir. Nous avons eu droit à un party de bachelorette à quelques chambres de la notre et ce jusqu'à 4h30 du matin, suivi d'un coup de téléphone d'un jeune homme qui cherchait "Jason".
