I stayed for 3 nights for a cheap price and really enjoyed the hotel. The building is old but the interior was well decorated and renovated. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful when asking info for tourist landmarks. The room was clean, perfectly warm and there was a thermostat so you could adjust it. The bed was comfy enough for a regular […] sleep; the TV looked old but the screen resolution was good. There was a small fridge which was great for me since I had some perishable food. The bathroom was clean, spacious, and well illuminated; but only the hot water took a while to heat (probably because of the old building). I loved the breakfast delivered to the room every morning at the time I asked. The room was clean and tidy every day when I returned at night. The location is perhaps the best, just 2 blocks from the Berri Metro Station and one block from two 24 hour open big pharmacies where you can get anything you need, and I think about 4 blocks from the bus terminal. I never needed to take the cab, saving time and money. I definitely recommend this hotel. Read more

The hotel is close to downtown but a bit sketchy at night. Parking is tight but always available - ask for the gated additional parking lot if needed. Staff is very nice and extremely helpful. The hotel's location was absolutely perfect. we were able to walk to almost all the places we wanted to see. the train station, tons of shops and restaurants were nearby. The staff was somewhat friendly. The condition of the bathroom was unacceptable. the shower was moldy and was not well lit. the connection for the cable was horrible and the screen […] constantly was filled with static. The hotel is located few steps off St. Catherine in the Village, so not recommended for people afflicted by homophobia. Easy to get on and off highway, good access to metro, shops, museums, and not far from Mount Royal Park. Lots of coffee shops, sex shops, and male strip clubs. The room w/king size bed was small, badly lit, had small fridge, 2 smallish chairs, table size of a pizza box and an antediluvian TV set. WiFi worked. The bathroom was small, had walk-in shower and toilet meant to accommodate left-leg amputees (if you happen to have both legs you'd have to seat side-ways due to the seat mounted too close to the wall). Some closet space. A/C worked. Rather quiet. Complimentary breakfast was edible. Free parking is limited to about 7-8 tight spots behind the hotel, difficult to get in and out, fenced, locked, otherwise no security. Public parking on the street and off, nearby. The hotel says free parking but there is not, you have to get up at 6 to move your car or get a expensive ticket from the city. Also bring soap, every time they clean our room there wasnt any soap. Just a note, the room we stayed in was extremely small. Though it contained a double bed, it reminded me of a large walk-in closet. So though it was clean and cozy, it wasn't worth the $90 a night price tag.

its just across the street from the underground connecting to the Metro Station Berri-UQAM. this station is also the hub for all the different lines of the subway system. The hotel is located in a very good place, close to the subway station Berri-UQAM and you won't need a car to walk in Montreal. The breakfast is good, but it is served in the room. One thing that I didn't like so much is that the room is small when it has too double queen beds.

Je devais me rendre à un spectacle au Café Campus... j'ai réservé par Internet une chambre pour 3 personnes à l'hôtel Saint-André !!! Lorsque je suis arrivée à l'hôtel, ma réservation était faite, tout était prêt et la personne à l'accueil c'est très bien occupée de nous ! Encore un gros merci !!!
