My daughter and I stayed at the Residence Inn downtown Montreal and had a good experience. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and... nice. The location was perfect for all that we had planned. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is because the beds were just awful. They seemed old, hard and just plain uncomfortable. Location.
The Residence Inn Montreal Downtown is conveniently situated next door to Peel Metro station and underground city shopping. The hotel is 1 street away from famous St. Catherine Street and 4 blocks from trendy Crescent Street.

Hotel Features.
Guests will start their day with a complimentary hot and cold buffet breakfast, served mornings in the Hearthroom. Later, they will enjoy a social hour, hosted by the hotel 2 or more evenings a week, with complimentary snacks. Take advantage of the exercise room to melt tensions away. This hotel has all the basic conveniences I would hope for, including a small kitchenette, free wifi, a great location, and even a pull out couch. This was my second stay here and I have absolutely no complaints. It can fit four adults comfortably and at a very reasonable price.

I've stayed at this hotel 4 times, and it always impresses. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable; the complimentary breakfast is quite ample; and the front desk staff is very helpful. The location is perfect ... just blocks from McGill University, great shopping and dining, and walking distance from Old Town Montreal.

This hotel is in the perfect location for the F1 weekend. The events are going on just south right on peel, and not far over on crescent. Everything is close as well as metro right at corner.The hotel staff and hotel itself was clean pleasant and professional, breakfast offered a wide variety. Top Tier all the way. Only missing thing is a pool.

A typical 3 star hotel. Clean and nice. My only issue would be the washroom. It was way too small. I don't think even 2 people could stand inside comfortably. But not everything can be perfect for the price your paying. Staff were ok, they seem biased to their clients. However, for the deal, I would definitely stay there again.

The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was modern, spotless, and comfortable, and the location was within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. The breakfast was great, lots of choices. I would definitely stay here again.
