I decided on this hotel based on the many favorable reviews since this was my first trip to Montreal. Hotel conveniently located in downtown, staff was very friendly and helpful, Metro rail station right around the corner, bank to exchange money is a couple doors down the street, and they have free breakfast buffet in the morning. It was a great stay in an "American style" atmosphere. The only issue was that there is a dance club directly across the narrow street and it was very noisy on a Saturday night. This hotel was an excellent choice for us. The location was ideal, being just one block from the metro. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable of Montreal and were more than willing to answer any question you might have. The room size was smaller than other suites we have stayed in that were Residence Inn's but I guess that is because of being located […] in a large city where real estate property is scarce. The kitchen in the suite was well stocked with pots and pans, the breakfast offered a variety of foods and the coffee pot was always on.
