I've stayed at other Westin hotels in other parts of the world, and this one didn't seem to be at the same level. There were plastic cups in the bathroom... instead of glass, plastic trash cans of different colors, no amenities such as shower caps, for instance, no slippers. Room was comfortable but bland. No free wifi. I had just come from Helsinki and Brussels at the Crowne Plaza in both cities, and both had free wifi in the rooms. Stains in the elevator carpets and some hallways, which surprised me. Location.
The Westin Ottawa is located just a few blocks from Parliament Hill in downtown Ottawa, Canada. Ottawa is the inland capital of Canada and home to cultural, governmental, and business centers. The hotel is connected to the Rideau Centre Shopping Complex and the convention centre, a first class convention place along the Rideau Canal. Visitors can enjoy an elegant dining-boat tour along Rideau Canal, beneath the stars and emerald rooftops of parliament.

Hotel Features.
To satisfy even midnight cravings, room service at The Westin Ottawa is available 24-hours a day. The hotel restaurant, Daly's, serves contemporary cuisine overlooking the Parliament Buildings and the Rideau Canal. A lounge and coffee bar are also on site. Dry cleaning services are available, so guests may look their sharpest in freshly pressed attire. Both the upper-level swimming pool and exercise facility offer floor-to-ceiling panoramic views of downtown Ottawa. Squash players may be pleased to find the recreational facilities at the Westin include squash courts. A ballroom and conference facilities are available. The hotel offers wired and wireless Internet access throughout, as well as valet parking (surcharges). A height restriction applies to parking, and guests with oversize cars will be directed to the nearest parking lot. This property is completely nonsmoking (fines may apply for violations).

Stayed in the Westin Ottawa Labor Day weekend. Our room had a huge picture window overlooking the Parliament. We sat at night, propped up our feet, and drank in the sights. Saved a bundle on taxis because it is within walking distance to the major sights and the market.

This was a wonderful hotel with a center city location and beautiful views. It is located near the museums and the river. The staff at the hotel and in the dining room were friendly and helpful, and if we go again to Ottawa, we most certainly would stay at this hotel.

My sister & I were disappointed with the room itself. We thought the bathtub would be bigger & the room itself much nicer. However the beds were very comfortable & the nearness to the Rideau Centre was a plus. We would in all likelihood not stay at the Westin again.

Amazing hotel! Great service from their exceptional staff. Clean room with a perfect view of Parliament, which was excellent for the fireworks, and a huge bed! Minor critique: pillows are uncomfortable and the renovated suite don't have a bath tub, which made it difficult to bath our baby.

It's our third stay here and the service is wonderful. Walking distance from all the prime attractions like the Parliment Buildings, The Art Gallery, Shopping, bars eating spots. We just love the city!! We will be back for tulip time.

Vu le prix que j'ai payé je trouve que l'hotel n'a pas tout le confort qui vient avec ce prix . En plus un hotel quatre étoiles sans parking je pense qu'il faut enlever deux étoiles sinon veaut mieux un motel en dehors de la ville que passer une heure chercher un stationnement ou payer 32 dollars de plus comme c'était mon cas.
