The staff was excellent, the acoomodations, divine. We were able to park our car and walk everywhere from this hotel. Downtown Vancouver at our fingertips,... with everything we needed right there. The only complaint would be that elevators are slow for the height of the building, but even the staff know this and apologized. Since we were on the 19th floor, it made for some small wait time. The kitchen was nice enough for short term cooking for a family of three, but would not work for much longer, and it allowed us to pack lunches and have breakfast in. There are several decent groceries nearby. The pool is not very deep, and there is no where comfortable to change, soyou do have to walk through the main area of the hotel, keeping you from feeling very private. No worries to us, but some might feel uncomfortable. Useful free maps at the front desk, and everyone friendly. Internet in the lobby only and hit or miss, but I did not pay for the upgrade to have internet in my room, which might have been better than the lobby service. Most important thoughwas just how centrally located and comfortable the whole place is. I would recommend it to anyone who is in the Vancouver area!.... Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Aug 1, 2012
