"Good Enough!"
My husband and I visited Vancouver for the first time last May 2012. We stayed in this hotel for 5D4N. We got a one bedroom suite with spectacular view of the English Bay and the snow capped mountain of Mt. Grouse aside of course the buildings in between. It may be an old hotel which needs refurbishing but the room is quite spacious and the king sized […] Bed with its soft pillows was so comfortable that I had no trouble getting sleep. The staff were so nice and accommodating. The place is also accessible to various restaurants of different blends and taste. It is also a short distance to English bay where you can get a beautiful view of the setting sun and flying seagulls crossing the horizon. Downtown is few minutes away and the famous Stanley park. Room Tip: We brought our car and was so shocked to learn that they charge parking for guest. We paid $100 Cana... See more room tips Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great Deal, Great Service, Great Time!"
Pros: Service, Space, Rate, Location Cons: Superficially Old Looking? My girlfriend and I stayed there for one night on a three day weekend trip to BC. We picked it after doing a lot of research because it had the best rate for a four star hotel, though on the map it seemed slightly removed from the usual cluster of hotels. I must say I was very pleasantly […] surprised. The service was excellent, particularly the valet who gave us really good advice on navigating the area. The room was quite roomy and we were at just the right angle to see the water (though, a small portion of the view). The best, in my opinion, was that since we were in an unfamiliar city to us, the parking and streets were safe and the staff helpful. For a centrally located location, sometimes that's hard to come by. Great place. I would definitely book there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to Stanley Park"
The location of the hotel was great. Just off a street full of restaurants, but in a residential neighborhood. Very close to Stanley Park, so we brought our bikes. They were running a free parking deal while we were there, so that was excellent and convenient. The room was huge, with a balcony and a kitchenette. I would definitely stay here again. Only […] complaint was that there were screaming kids in the pool after 9pm. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Nice room, great view. Don't put too many bubbles into the jacuzzi tub because the bubbles will overflow when you turn on the jets :)Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Had an awesome overnight stay. Staff were friendly and helpful. Suite was clean and very comfortable. Hotel is older but well kept and it looks like they have been rennovating the rooms. Ours was great. LOVED the location. Lots of variety of local restaurants and close to English Bay and Stanley Park. We will definitely stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
