The Georgian Court Hotel, a European-style property, is located across from the BC Place and near the Rogers Arena. This hotel stands one block from Queen Elizabeth Theatre and NHL Hockey at Rogers Arena, and is three blocks from Gastown, Chinatown, and Yaletown. Skytrain Station is located less than two blocks from this property.

The Frankie's Italian Kitchen Restaurant offers Italian cuisine. Beatty Street Bar and Grill showcases 15 big-screen televisions and a roster of beer and burger favorites. The Bistro is open daily. This hotel provides an on-site fitness center with "Life Fitness" cardiovascular and strength equipment. The hotel's spa contains a spa tub and a steam room. Massages and facials may be requested at the spa, or within the privacy of guests' rooms. Garage and valet parking are available (surcharge).

The Georgian Court Hotel features 180 Robert Ledingham-designed guestrooms in a 12-story brick building. Rooms include traditional furnishings, duvets and pillow-top mattresses, crown moldings, wooden baseboards, and windows that open. Subtle harvest hues blend harmoniously with fabric tapestries, fine furnishings, and paintings by British Columbia artists. Accommodations provide three multi-line phones, flat-panel satellite television, and complimentary wired and wireless high-speed Internet access. All rooms offer refrigerators and slippers. "Very nice, but can you fix the wi-fi?"
The hotel was in a very convenient location. Staff was excellent. and our room was very clean. Our only complaint is that the wi-fi did not work. If you're going to add "wi-fi" as an amenitiy, make sure it's working. There is TV, but it is $13 to watch a movie. It would be nice to lounge in bed and read the news on my ipad, but I couldn't get any streaming […] connection. "Never again"
Not worth the price of the room. First of all the rooms are so small that you cannot even take more than 5 steps in the room. With one big bag and two small bags I had to jump over the bags to use the room. Secondly we left the service tag on the door to replace the linen in the room and it wasn’t done. "Convenient Location"
We took the Amtrak Cascades train from Seattle to Vancouver and The Georgian Court Hotel is a mere $5 cab ride away from the train station. It is located across the street from the sports arenas, which was not necessary for us but it was within walking distance to all the other neighborhoods that we wanted to explore (Yaletown, Gastown, etc). My only […] complaint is that when we realized our room keys were not working on Day 2 (they clearly were not programmed correctly), the woman at the front desk was unapologetic and acted like it was our fault that the keys did not work. "Nice location, decent hotel."
The staff was friendly and helpful, but the hotel itself left something to be desired. The elevators are very slow, and require a room key to activate. There is no option to use the stairs, either. "Pretty but odd"
Room: old furnishings and uncomfortable bed (why are ALL hotel beds so darned hard?) Weird artwork. Slippery tub. But clean. Lobby: Nice, wish the whole place was like it. Employees: Except for one unattentive and borderline rude gal, the rest were wonderful. She could barely be bothered to offer any info or be hospitable. Rate: Work it down. It […] should be between $100 - $150 Canadian, in my opinion. If not less. Food: DON'T get the breakfast deal. It is awful. For a "small luxury hotel of the world" this was a travesty. Rubbery eggs from godknowswhere and icky meats, dry muffins, gross croissants and cheap juice. Room service: overpriced (duh) small portions. New restaurant going in, so no idea about that. Surrounding location: you get a freaky view of the sports center, sports bars abound, it feels desolate and scary, but is supposedly safe. You are close to Granville street (fratboys picking up chicks and too much drinking) and far away from nice shopping. Be sure to drive around if you can to get situated and don't plan on walking unless you have an event. Better to drive/cab/bus somewhere else and THEN walk around. Facilities; Gym is basic, steam room works well, but the floor is GROSS. Wear thick flip flops or drop a bunch of towels on the floor. The jacuzzi has a loose handle, be careful. View: Street or parking lot. Very quiet - especially the lady's floor. With some more renovation and better services, this could be a winner, but it's location is unfortunate. "Great location, but just ok"
The hotel itself is nothing special. The only thing great about this hotel is it is a 5 minute walk to the hockey arena. Was slightly annoyed at check-in process. Got there early at 1pm and gentleman said room would be ready at 3, so they held our luggage and we went about town for a bit, came back after 4pm and it looks like they weren't actually […] holding our room and probably gave it away. "Perfect comfort in underwhelming style"
The best thing was the supreme comfort of the bed and quiet air con. Probably the most comfy hotel bed ever! The downsides were less of a worry because of this, but we were a liitle disappointed by the slighty dated look of the hotel, and facilities such as the relatively low shower head over the bath tub. That said, very clean space, helpful staff […] and great services, such as free bike hire and a free shuttle service to anywhere in the downtown area. "Great location to BC Place"
Our stay was good with the exception of the one elevator stopped working. The hotel was full and the stairs are not functional as they only up to a couple of floors (doors locked) or empty into the alley way (not the lobby or parkade) and the repair people did not come till Monday. It took forever to get one that wasn't full. We would have gladly used […] the stairs but our floor was one we could not open up to and with the amount of older guest in the hotel the repair person should have been there Saturday morn. "It was expensive"

The room and decor were good, it was very comfortable yet small. We did have trouble with the wireless but it was intermitten. The front staff were not helpful at all.
