This was a very quick in and out business trip, really for one short breakfast meeting. The other party suggested this hotel because it is close to his office. Had it been my choice, I would have stayed someplace closer to the airport. My check-in experience was great, and in fact I received an unexpected room upgrade. The room was clean and comfortable […] and the restaurant served a fine breakfast. I took a walking tour of the casino just for fun, but did not participate since I don't gamble. My impression is that the casino is the "tail that wags the dog" here, and if you are not interested in that amenity, there are no doubt more economical and/or conveniently located lodging options in Calgary. In general, a good experience! Checking in was bit confusing as the reception clerk could not find our reservation and had to transfer to a higher personnel. She eventually did find our reservation! Unfortunately, arriving on Sunday limited our choice of dinning in the hotel facilities. A couple of the eating facilities within the casino were closed. Our stay was very comfortable. The hotel and rooms were very clean. The kids enjoyed the waterslide and pool. I would recommend bringing your own pillow, they were too big. I would not recommend the pizza from the restaurant for take out it was a little funny tasting.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Nice place to stay in Calgary. The whole hotel was almost empty in off season and I got a good discount. Service was good and the staff were friendly. It is next to the highway to the airport. "A big hit with the kids"
We stay at this hotel because of the pool. The kids love it. There is a smaller pool and slide for our younger one and a deeper pool and waterslide for our older child. Upon arrival both kids got a package with a coloring book and crayons. We ate at the Hotel restaurant as they have a kids menu and their food was ok but a bit pricey.
