this hotel was ok. The room was too stuffy so when we opened the window the road noise was rather loud. We stayed 4 nights & had to get our keys re-done for 3 of them cuz they never programed them properly which was annoying. The rooms seemed clean enough however we left a 4 foot shelf behind & it took me 3 phone calls & 3 days before they actually […] went up to the room to find it. Shows just how poorly the cleaning staff do their jobs. Nice having the fridge but probably won't stay there again. "dirty and overpriced super 8"
There were cobwebs and wads of dust clinging to the stucco ceiling. The shower ceiling had a hole in it - roughly covered by plaster. The shower and sink fixtures were not cleaned; black grout (mold) on the tiles. Front desk staff did not smile once....AND the price was the same 129.00 as a CLEAN room at Holiday Inn. "Disgusting hotel"
My stay at this hotel was horrible the place is dirty. My room had someone else's socks in the tv cabinet. The bathroom floor had garbage on it. The bed was uncomfortable. Pillows neck breaking. "Worst motel in my whole life"
When I entered my room, the room was freezing cold. Then, I called room service, the room service told me to turn on a heater situated inside the room. Well, that heater made my sleeping kind of nightmare. It made the room air dry within and I could not breathe within couple of hours, it was sooo bad feeling. Then, I had to turn off the heater. "Bad experience"
Overall, the hotel is what it should be. It's a Super 8 on a busy street, easy and convenient. I'm not satisfied because of the service. My keys fell down the elevator shaft when I checked in. And I didn't get them back until 1pm the next day and a $450 charge. The front desk clerk told me he had calls to 5 different companies, including one that would […] charge $150. When I checked out, the final tally was $450 for a 30minute invoices from the elevator company. I understand that I dropped the keys, and I understand that it takes a certified technician to open an elevator. I feel that they were reckless with my money, and didn't want to deal with it and help protect me. At one point I was told I should call the elevator company. I think it's the policy of the hotel owner, not really the staff. They were actually rather cordial, and both MOD I dealt with told me they weren't OK with the deal. The only reason I gave a 3 for the condition of the hotel was due to the towels. They were quite small & very well used. We only had 2 faceclothes each day even though there were 3 of us in the room. None of the reviews mentioned that there is an overnight truck stop right beside the hotel where all the trucks have their engines running all night long.
