"pay for location"
I stayed here because I had an early morning flight. The room was high priced, but not too much higher than nearby off-site hotels. The restaurants were nice, the work-out room was small but had a good selection of weights and equipment. It worked well for for a single days use. "Convenient for early or late flight"
I have stayed at a number of Delta hotels and frankly this one was not quite up to par with the others. It was older with a lot of dirt in the corners and carpet. The bathroom was clean as was the bed so I was comfortable. It was extremely convenient for a late noight arrival. Staff were friendly and helpful. We recently had to conduct our regulatory pool tests this month, and as such, the pool was out of service for 1.5 days. The pool is regularly open from 6am to 10pm throughout the day, but it does close in the evening to limit noise because it’s an atrium style pool. "Air conditioning didn't work"
Our air conditioning didn't work... the room was really warm, so we turned it on and went to dinner but it didn't cool down by the time we returned. "expensive but location location location"
This hotel is literally in the Calgary airport and there fore has a wonderful location. It has a large atrium and if you ave a room facing onto this central area, the noise filters up into your room. Despite the convenience of this location, the rooms are badly configured. The cupboard in my room was too small to hang my suit properly, the bathroom was small and with a bad door location that one had to squeeze around, and with an interior courtyard view, one must constantly keep the blinds closed. "Handy for Early morning flights"
Hotel was harder to find then we thought. Stayed here on our way home from Vegas. Very handy to be close for late check in and early flight out. "A little too warm"
We always stay here if we get in late. It drives me crazy how the rooms are always WAY too warm and there is no way to cool them down. Also the bathroom doorway was extrememly small and the bathroom door would hit the main door - very awkward (Room #708).Genuine Hotels.com guest review

The only benefit to staying here is if you have an early morning flight, you just walk across the roadway and are in the terminal. The hotel restaurant is poor quality, bad service (they "lost my order") and highly overpriced - 17 CAD for a sandwich. The swimming pool they advertise is in the lobby area so you are swimming in public of everyone checking […] in or dining! I did not use it even though I had planned to. I’ve double checked our profile on Hotels.com and did not see any advertising for smoking rooms, or rooms with a balcony; however, there is a bullet point that stats smoke-free property – maybe when scrolling through the amenities it was an oversight? Although we don’t have balconies, some of our rooms do have windows which open and are available upon request. I’ve passed along your concerns to our Chef and our Restaurant manager regarding your dining experience, because I'm disappointed that the quality of food did not mirror the outstanding service which should have been provided to you. Our sandwiches do range between $16-17, but are prepared with the best ingredients; such as, Alberta prime rib, Dijon aioli, and herb garlic ciabatta. I’m very sorry that your stay was not up to standard; however, I have confidence that, if you allowed us another opportunity to exceed your expectations, we would do everything we could to make your stay much more than just to make flying out more convenient.
"Pricey if you just need a bed"
I had to stay one night at the airport and chose the Delta mainly because of its convenient location across the street from the arrival hall. I mainly needed a bed to sleep and didn't have the chance to enjoy the full potential of the hotel (pool, restaurant, bar etc). There are no real complaints about the room or the staff, everything was in good […] order and the staff was helpful and friendly. However, I had the misfortune to have a connecting door to the neighboring room within my room and at the same time a very noisy neighbor (tv noise). The sound insolation of this door was poor and I didn't really get the sleep I hoped for. For this reason, my overall rating for the hotel is only a 3, as I consider sound insolation between rooms an important factor. "Nice north side location - but too inconvenient"
This hotel is perfect if you are travelling in and out of the Calgary airport. If you are driving into town and have lots to do, may not be the best place to stay. Parking is $12 each visit to the parkade - so each time you leave the parkade you pay $12. I understand this is airport parking but the hotel should have some sort of deal where this is included […] in your stay. I was extremely frustrated with this upon check in and the hotel clerk was very kind in offering me 2 for 1 valet parking for my stay which helped. I didn't receive housekeeping during my stay. The dining guide in my hotel room also boasted about a great brunch buffet on Sundays from 11-130 which no one seemed to know anything about. We are currently working with the Calgary airport to look into an in-and-out privilege system for guests parking here. The parking is ideal for guests who are flying out on vacation because our rates are reduced, and we have parking packages available. Thank you for letting us know about the error in the dining guide in the room. We had removed our Sunday brunch buffet earlier this spring, and the dining guide should have been updated accordingly. Calgary Stampede rates also came into effect in early July, so that could have been a factor as well. "Great if your leaving out of YYC"
The hotel is great if you have an early flight the next morning out of Calgary. The room was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room service was very quick. The things we didn't like were the internet was very slow and the room was hot. Becuase it is an older building the airconditioning cannot be cooled down by each room. They did bring […] a fan to the room. The bed comfort was fine for a night or two, but not a longer stay, they are not pillow top. The rooms still have the old style TV's, not flat screens, which for the cost of the room for each night I felt was not acceptable. I’m surprised to hear about the internet being slow as we just did a nationwide upgrade, but I have followed up with our Tech team to see if there was any disturbance in the signal. We are also updating all of our rooms with new flat panel HD TV’s at the end of the month, and we’re looking into providing HD channels to our guests for optimal entertainment. Late night airport stop over with easy access and great check in service. The room and bed very comfortable. "Good choice for early flights"
The Hotel Is located at the Calgary Airport Terminal, it is a short walk to the depature area, this is extremely convenient if you have an early depature as we did. The room we had was a 2 double room, it was on the small side, it is fine for a couple, however it would be cramped with more than 2 occupants. The rooms do not seem to be well insulated […] as far as hallway noise is concerned, I found it to be more noisy than usual. The staff was very friendly & efficient, checkin took minutes. We travel with a small dog, and we were able to bring him with us which is a bonus for us, however if find that the $35 per night fee charged is excessive. "Not what I expected from a Delta"
The common areas of the hotel are in great condition and are somewhat deceiving considering the double room that I stayed in was very basic and did not meet my expectations with respect to the quality that I would traditionally expect from a stay at the Delta.
