A beautiful Hotel with a great room and roomy bathroom. The breakfast and Internet connection costs were disappointing and excessive. However a great weekend and we will stay there again every time we go to Canberra.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Canberra Hyatt Not That Good."
We stayed 4 nights at the Canberra Hyatt,its a beautiful old building close to Parliment House. Breakfest for the 4 days was exactly the same food with not a great deal of varitey and not very inspiring for a 5 Star Hotel.Also the swimming pool has public access and we had to battle to get into the pool as guests of the hotel, as they were running a […] public water exersise class.After paying nearly $1800 to stay there for the 4 days we should have been able to use the pool when we wanted.So to sum up we were not impressed with the Hyatt in Canberra however the stay we had at the Perth Hyatt was outstanding 2 years ago which we also booked through Expedia.. Rooms OK - have stayed in better at other 5 star places. We booked a package with breakfast, check in was slow and our allocated room was given to others! Room eventually allocated was on 4th floor -- near the noisy roof to air conditioner that hummed loudly all night. We even told them it was for a special occasion.
