"Don't your hopes up"

"Beware, smells like smoke, old, bed stains"
1st floor Hallways made me gag from smoke smell, Beds stained, shower cracked and mouldy tiles with black grout lines, Toilet ran and shower wouldn't drain. Huge stain on bathroom wall. 2 girls smoking pot outside bedroom window late at night in parking lot. Had to change first room smelled like air freshener. Desk clerk said they were upgrading carpeting […] and I must of got an old room not done yet. I was not satisfied at all and travel weekly to Edmonton area. My issue with this hotel was specific to my room. First, my room was old and dirty. Second, the soundproofing was terrible, I could easily hear conversations in the room next door. Third, there was a crazy loud noise in my room. It sounded like a piece of furniture was being dropped from the ceiling. When I reported the noise they did nothing to fix […] it. When I reported it again they had me move to another room in the middle of the night. The subsequent room was much nicer than my original room, which begs the question, why didn't they put me in that room originally. I got a great deal to stay last minute, too bad the hotel couldn't match my first night! Still worth the stay. I came on business but am always on the look out for a place to bring the fam later on. The lobby of the hotel was nice, although was soon as we stepped off the elevator to go our room we were greeted by two very loud, barking dogs from a room across the hall.
