"Unimpressed"
They don't have their own parking. They share a local parkade. The service was not the greatest. The room was quite small with a parking lot for a view. Was disgusted with the condition of the room. A bottle of alcohol was left in the fridge. If I hadn't noticed it, my young children could have found it. Stains on bedding and greasy liquid of some sort […] was all over one of the night stands. The parking was right next door but you had to pay for each day and I thought that should of been included not extra. The attendants in the parkade seem confused about the parking and they didn't understand English very well, which didn't help. The fan didn't work...the tubs jets didn't work...cheap tv for the price of room. Could of been better Front desk clerk was snotty and rude towards her co workers ...dropping f-bombs when no one around. I was sitting in lounge area waiting for shuttle. I thought the stay was great. The room had a nice king bed. Being in the mall made locating all of the little things that I forgot to pack a breeze. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was great . Right in the City Centre Mall. Rooms were large. We had some guest join us between the wedding and reception. The sitting area and the wet bar were very convenient. Everything was okay this time except when we wanted to use the business centre and they couldn't get the scanner working. The manager who came over was extremely frustrated and got angry with us, like it was somehow our fault that their equipment wasn't working. He was extremely rude with my wife. "Dated but functional"
The room we stayed in was very dated. The bathroom was quite old and the jetted tub sounded like an actual jet taking off. You couldn't have the jets on for more than a few minutes because they hurt your ears. The view from our room was right into the mall, so that was neat. The bed was comfortable as well. The location was right downtown, so I was […] very surprised at the lack of anything at all close to the hotel. There was nowhere to get a tea or coffee once the mall closed or opened. Extremely comfy bed and pillows. At first, we were given a room with a double bed, when we paid for a king suite. The staff were very accommodating and helped us change rooms immediately. The room also had an odd smell, but I am pregnant and can smell everything ;) The bathroom was mostly clean, but there was hair in the bathtub. I would highly recommend staying at the Delta City Centre. I would definitely stay at this hotel again! The reception staff who had checked us in were very pleasant, kind and very helpful throughout our stay. When we first had checked in they had commented on the amount of luggage we had because of our young daughter and offered to upgrade us to a king […] suite at no extra charge! The suite was quite large and very clean and the bed was very comfy and I was very pleased that the bedding was an actual duvet with a clean cover. The only complaint that I have is that the hotel does not have a vending machine for munchies after the mall is closed, but I was able to grab some munchies after hours at the movie theatre that is located just off from the restaurant. But knowing that, I can just plan to grab munchies ahead of time for our next stay. Our experience at this hotels was a very positive one and we will recommend it to our family and friends.
