The hotel and the room was fine, but the breakfast on totally diappointing. Nothing but carbs and a little fruit offered. Saw some customers going next door for breakfast. Don't advertise a breakfast unless it is going to be a decent one.

We were impressed with the staff and quality of service at the hotel. Overall, the facility was showing its age, even a little run-down. Our first room smelled of cigarette smoke, but we were quickly moved and it was handled very well. We stayed only one night while passing through. Like others have already said, we didn't expect much from a Ramam Inn, but boy were we pleasantly surpised! It was clean, comfortable and they had a friendly helpful staff. We were visiting The University of New Brunswick with our son and chose Ramada because of the location and good reviews. When we reached Frederickton, the bridge over the river was under construction, so we had to take a long detour to get to the hotel. We were anxious to unwind after driving 6 hours, and looking forward to reaching the hotel so we […] could relax a bit before heading back into town for dinner. Checking in was easy and the people at the front desk were friendly. Our room overlooked an indoor courtyard that had a little porch and balcony. It was quite dark inside the courtyard, and had the look of a bar/billiard hall. That being said, there was also an indoor pool and hot tub in the same area which caused the entire courtyard to have a very heavy odor of clorine. I wasn't comfortable using the swimming pool given the "swinging" atmosphere, complete with an artificial waterfall and lots of plastic plants and trees. It was dark and gloomy inside the room since there was no window facing an outside wall. We could hear people in the couryard partying and playing pool into the night. The wallpaper was wrinkled and peeling and the tub faucet was sticking right out of the wall. The room looked old and very worn in fact, the lock on the sliding door to the courtyard was hanging from one loose screw. The following day,the maid came around 4 PM after we had returned from our activities that day. The beds were unmade and we just made a quick towel swap. The next day, The beds were made, but we could tell that someone had been laying down on the bed! You could clearly see the impression of someones body on the comforter and pillows. Perhaps the maid took a little TV break. That being said, I won't be staying here again. On the upside, the restaurant was convenient, though mediocre, and the beds were comfortable. Read more

We had a great stay at this hotel, the kids loved the pool and fish pond (although we were not able to find the turtles :-) We really enjoyed the courtyard set up of the hotel, with the balconies facing in on the pool, it allowed us to let the kids play in the pool while we relaxed on the balcony and watched them. The front-desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful while both checking in and out as well as providing me with all of the must-see sights while in Fredericton. In terms of the room, the walls are very thin, you can hear almost everything going on in the room next door which is less than ideal. room was cold when I arrived a quick call and maintenance came and put the heat on. The room was lovely the view delightful. The décor was pleasant and restful. Items not working where fixed by maintenance when pointed out. The pool and hot tub require maintenance a broken tile near hot tub and a loose board. The pool bottom requires maintenance slimy […] to the feet. The restaurant food excellent the chef accommodating making a dressing from scratch for a salad I purchased and the bar requires staff. Had a party of 20 plus and no refills or second drinks due to lack of staff. Beer not put in a glass. Food for event excellent. Gym awesome I enjoyed it couldn't get bike work. Otherwise clean and great to work out private. Suggested a water cooler or complimentary bottle water. Loved my respite week. Often hotels can be noisy, especially if there is an indoor pool and bar. In this hotel, the security was excellent at enforcing quiet hours after 11 pm. It would have been nice if the pool was open before 9 am as we like morning swims.

Location is good. Hotel shows its age, inside and out. Although there are no smoking rooms the smokers seem to gather at and block the hotel entrances. Hotel staff does not seem to want to clear the entrances.

Although this hotel is older, the room was spotless, the staff did everything they could to make our stay great. The food in the restaurant was fantastic, home cooked food. We enjoyed every meal and will certainly stay at this Ramada again.

We have stayed here several times, and have always had a good experience. However, this time there was a baseball team (teenage) who seemed to have no Code of Behaviour as most travelling teams do, no curfew, and whose chaperones seemed to have zero ability to control, or even attention to try to do so. My kids were awake into the wee hours due to slamming […] of the heavy room doors, yelling in the halls and in the rooms, and general noise level. In addition, we had a room overlooking the pool and courtyard, and a mother took her screaming baby in there to calm it down. Try the cool night air, Mom!!! Talk about echo... The room smelled like it was a smoking room at some point. We were in an adjoining room that had just a wood door seperating the rooms, I had to move the desk and place a towel at the bottom of the door in an attempt to keep the noise down from the neighbours, it wasn't much help. The hotel is run very efficiently. Service is very good, and requests are acted upon quickly. The hotel is starting to show its age though in the bathrooms, and would not recommend the food , with its poor selections. Stay here was enjoyable, and well worth the room rates through expedia.

The hotel was nice but we had a room at the second floor and with no elevator it was very hard to manipulate the luggages. Also, the hotel does not have a bellboy. We struggled with the luggage cart alone and also with the weight of the luggages on the stairs.
