"Very disappointed!"
We have stayed at the Quality for many years but after this past weekend we will be finding another hotel. I found the hotel to be very loud, they put us on the first floor above the pool which was extremely loud. They allowed kids to run the hallways screeming and yelling until I called and complained, after I mad the call it took about 45 mins for […] them to clear the hallways. "Disappointing Vacation"
Swimming pool, waterslide and hot tub areas built for kids not adults; strong chlorine smell throughout building. We only used these areas once at the beginning and did not go back. Have used other hotel waterslides that are open (not enclosed tunnel) and used by both adults and kids. The pool area also was not kept clean and large amounts of water […] pooled on deck. Pool not deep enough to even do aquatic exercises. Very disappointing. Breakfast items did not change at any time during our 6 days; same everything whereas other hotels offering free breakfast change up the items every other day i.e. scrambled or hard boiled eggs; different yougart flavours; muffins, waffels, etc. May be okay for short visits but not the quality or variety used to. Smallest refridgerator ever experienced in numerous hotels both in Ontario and Nova Scotia. Basically unusable. First time to use Quality Inns and will not be going back. "Not recommended."
For a newer hotel, there are several issues. Every time you walk into the lobby strong smell of chlorine from swimming pool. Carpet in hallways in bad shape. Large stain on carpet in room. Had to either hold handle down for several seconds when flushing toilet or flush it several times for it to completely flush. "Hot continental breakfast" disappointing. […] Not much choice, only fruit offered was apples, not really a breakfast food. Cereal dispenser broken, had to go looking for cup to scoop cereal out. Items not topped up in a timely manner.
