"A bit of a drive to downtown"
Worth the money, breakfast was ample and good enough. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool and hot tub are disappointing. The pool is small and cold. No jumping or diving. The hot tub jets hardly work. It is a good location if you are shopping at costco type stores, but 10 - 15 minute drive to downtown.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Holiday Inn Express Halifax"
Overall this was a great hotel- friendly, helpful staff; clean, comfortable rooms; close to all the places I wanted to visit; nice clean pool and hot tub!! The only thing I could have done without is the few ants I found in my room! I'd definately go back and recommend it to others!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel room was very satisfactory, quiet and comfortable. Terrific variety at breakfast. Would have preferred ceramic coffee mugs and plates along with metal utensils rather that styrofoam and plastic. It's all about being green.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
