Furama RiverFront, located in Singapore's financial district, is one kilometer from Chinatown and the riverfront Clark Quay entertainment district.

Furama RiverFront offers a tranquil setting in a busy city. The hotel's freeform outdoor pool is heavily landscaped with foliage and the almost floor-to-ceiling windows in the Waterfall Lounge face more greenery and a 20-foot cascade of water. Additional recreational amenities at the hotel include tennis courts, a putting green, and a fitness center that overlooks the pool area. The hotel offers two dining choices: The Square @ Furama, which specializes in Eastern and Western cuisine served buffet style and à la carte. Kintamani Indonesian Restaurant offers its specialties buffet style and à la carte, also. The lounge features live entertainment in the evening and a 42-inch flat-screen television with sports programs. Wireless Internet access is available (surcharge). Room service is available 24 hours a day. The hotel also provides complimentary shuttle service to Chinatown and Orchard Road. Pets are not permitted in this hotel.

"Perfectly pleasant stay at the Furama"
This is our second time in Singapore and we stayed in their Chinatown Furama last time. This one is the better one, we thought. It's a pleasant, clean hotel in which we had no issues (except for the pillows being a little too thick). It's got a nice pool and workout room (one of the better that I've seen). And, while closely located to the pleasant […] Clarke Quay for dining/drinks, it's a slightly far walk from the city center (upwards of 30-45 mins) - just depends on where you want to be. There is a good hop-on/hop-off bus located very near to the hotel (the Singapore Airlines bus), but taxis are very reasonable in Singapore (that's about all, though, unless you're into hawker food stalls...if you're not, you should be and there's a really good one a 10-min walk from the front door where we had breakfast each day). This hotel features Japanese Service (the best service out there). The employees went above an beyond to help us out. Nice bar in the lobby and fine pool. Although not too far from chinatown, the hotel is not near any mrt or bus stop, so if you do not like walking, taxi is the option beside shuttle bus proviided hourly to orchard and clarkquay, and outram park, suntec and shentonway for weekdays. The Hotel did not have the kind of room I had booked in advance and was asked to wait or accept an upgraded room by paying more. The 'upgraded' room was not that great after all. Nice clean hotel and very spacious rooms. If you are a large family like ours, request for a connecting room, very convenient. Very affordable hotel in the expensive Singapore. Only negative : it is a taxi distance from every popular place. You can't walk to Clark Quay and there is no MRT station nearby. "Excellent by all factors, at a Good Price"
We stayed for 3 days / 2 nights and found that everything was just perfect. Good room size and very neat & clean & delicately perfumed. We had booked a Superior room but we were upgraded to Deluxe room, as a compliment. View from the room was very good. Location was excellent. Neither too near from the crowd, nor too far from the shopping complexes […] and Orchard road. Staff were very polite, courtious and helpful. We were scared of net booking through hotels.com, especially for giving the credit card details. But people here are professional and everything went all right. I strongly recommend this property for stay, either business or holiday, and booking through hotels.com. "A very pleasant experience"
Having 3 adults in our (family) party staying in Singapore during a peak holiday (and therefore frightfully expensive) period at New Year, we thought it cost-efficient to book a suite rather than pay for 2 standard rooms. We were delighted with the service and customer relations experienced during our stay, check-in was handled swiftly and efficiently […] by a very courteous member of staff who comprehensively explained to us the facilities and complimentary services available to us. For the duration of our 8 night stay we had full access to the Executive Lounge where we had breakfast - an impressive buffet and selection of both Asian & International cuisine, as well as another impressive selection of canapes, finger-buffet, desserts and drinks in the evenings. Members of staff assigned to Executive residents were impeccable and showed the highest level of personal attention, swiftly registering each and every preference we had for type of drink, food,seating arrangements, etc. Concierge couldn't have been more helpful with providing complimentary umbrellas (there were showers during our stay) and especially in explaining bus routes and how to get to destinations, this went a long way to balance the slight downside in the hotel's location i.e there is no MRT station at the hotel's doorstep and the nearest stations (Outram Park or Chinatown) are a short bus-ride or 15-20 minutes walk away. Our Executive Suite room was reasonably comfortable (although not luxurious) with expected facilities (mini-bar,flat-screen TV,etc) and housekeeping was efficient and consistent, bed-linen, towels and toiletries refreshed and replenished daily. We recieved a complimentary plate of welcome fruits and there was a small vase of freshly-cut flowers in the room upon arrival , however the complimentary daily paper (The Straits Times) was only delivered on 3 of the 8 days despite reminders to the customer service desk. "Fräscht (oftast) men utan kommunikationer"
Fick våra rum "uppgraderat" till Executive då vi beställt två vanliga rum (vi reste två familjer). Uppgraderingen var dock ingen höjdare eftersom rummet var rökförpestat och hade utsikt mot fyra gigantiska fläktar samt att det fönstren var täckta av grön sörja. Efter påpekan och ytterst sura miner från personalen lyckades vi få tag i iaf ett vanligt […] rum som visade sig ha mycket bättre utsikt, vara rökfritt och dessutom hade betydligt nyare inredning. Det nya rummet var som sagt riktigt fint. Hotellet i sig ligger en bit bort från tunnelbanan och andra aktiviteter vilket gör att taxi i princip blir det alternativ som fungerar var man än ska ta sig från hotellet.
