"Great place, great base"
Right in Little India, short stroll to masses of interesting places - temples. mosques, markets, restaurants, food centres. Mustafa Centre (huge 'bazaar'-like deptartment store) is next door as is 'City Plaza' a huge ultramodern shopping centre with supermarkets, dept store everything! Room was great - about 40 sq.m. including the en-suite bathroom. […] TV good. We got free wifi and cable internet. Didn't try the hotel restaurants - we fell out the front door every morning for roti canai and coffee in local restaurants for <$3 pp!!! MRT is across the road, into City Plaza and down the escalators - couldn't be more convenient. We bought EZcard for the MRT for $5 each and travelled all over the island for peanuts. "Great hotel, bad wifi"
This is a great hotel in a nice location, close to shops, restaurants and public transport. My only complaint is the wifi. One of the key reasons I chose this hotel over others was the wifi in the room, this was a necessity for my as I to use the Internet to plan tours and keep in touch with family.
