"Worst hotel experience of my life"
It would be impossible to capture all of the problems I had here, but in extremely brief bullets: 1. Construction (drilling into the concrete, pounding, etc) every day from 7am. Denial of this for the first 3 days, then finally admitted to it (with written admission and apology) moved me to two rooms over the next 3 days (finally to a high floor). 2. […] Extremely loud noise from nearby bars/clubs until 4am every day (re: above = 3 hours sleep max each night). 3. Housekeeping knocking on door in afternoon when DND was on (several times), so couldn't even catch some sleep then. 4. Unbelievably, a complete shut off of ALL ELECTRICITY in entire hotel for 6 HOURS (including Air Con). 5. Substantial billing errors (over USD 500) at end of trip. Overall, and again without going into the many, many details of the horrible experience, their constant misleading and/or outright lies + inability to sleep + overcharge were borderline criminal.
