The hotel was pretty old and tried. it was ready for facelist...about 5 years ago. Considering this is a Sheraton property and the price, you would expect 4-5 star, not a -3. Very Good Service. Once we arrived the bellboy immediately approach us and got our bags. Check-in staff was very polite and quick. The room was big enough for us ( I have 2 small kids staying with us). It was kind of old but well-maintained and clean. Honestly, I didn't like that hotel much for couple of reasons. First, the chinese receptionist doesn't now how to host. She was like, here is ur key and give me ur credit card so we can transact money if u take anything from minibar. second thing, the rooms r so old, carpet was dirty and black!! the television has never changed since they opened the […] hotel maybe! I thought it's going to be something modern. They give me a room that you can hear all noise from everywhere and the fan of the airconditioner was so loud. Third, it is expensive and doesn't deserve a lot monry!! We were disappointed, wanted to use the pool but were told it was being renovated. No mention of this on the hotel site so we felt short changed. CHeck in took about twice as long as we normally experience. lose to the iconic ewtons Circus hawkers market but this was difficult to get to because of major roadworks. We had a 3 day stop over in Singapore on our way home from Thailand. It was my wife's 50th birthday trip and we were 'upgraded' to a cabana room on level 5 by the pool. The room smelt damp, the concrete walls and ceiling were cracked and peeling, it was dark, had no view and was generally old and unappealing. To add insult to injury, the cabana room […] is advertised on the Sheraton website as - in addition, guests get to enjoy all the benefits of the Towers Executive Programme. When we enquired about this, we were told that we could have the upgrade to the room, but not the Executive Programme - I thought and upgrade was an upgrade. We ended up changing the room back to a deluxe, which was fine and a birthday cake arrived on day two which was very nice. Just not a great experience. Read more

Recently stayed here for a week during the Singapore Airshow with a young family. Rooms are in need of refurbishment with years of dirt in the crevices and worn carpets. House keeping is poor and despite repeated requests will not supply extra consumables (toilet paper and soap, etc) , and extra towels - very difficult with a young family. So this hotel was very nice 20 years ago. Don't think they have update the rooms in a decade. Still have small box tv's in the room, crust spots on the carpet. I really would expect more from a sheraton. Also charge you for internet, which is absolutely ridiculous. Only reason I would stay here again is to accumulate starwood points. Is close to MRT […] and 10 min walk from orchard, so that is a plus. A total pain to get cabs, most of the time. Read more

It is quite walkable to the main market place Orchard Road. There is a proper walk path and beautiful surrounding. Just the next block has Newton MTR if you wish to use the Metro.

やはり、主張すべきだと思った！！ 大人しい、かつ我慢強い日本人には、不満を持たれそうな部屋を優先的に当てがう。 今回は中高年女性三人の旅にも関わらず、ホテルが満室である事を理由に7階の喫煙フロアーに入れられた。中国語が出来たので、強く抗議したところ別のフロアーをアレンジーしてくれた。

さすがシェラトンと言った感じですね。何処で泊っても、レベルの高いサービスが安心して受けられます。今回、シンガポールで泊りましたが、部屋はプールサイドのコテージ風を用意してもらい、日経新聞も配達あり。全くストレスを感じませんでした。

　夜行便で朝にホテルに着いて、着替えをしたくて何処でできるかを聞いたところ、5階プール脇の着替え室を使ってくれとのこと。　ただそれだけの情報で、エレベータで5階に行き、着替室をどこか探したが、誰もおらず照明も点いていなかった。　漸く探して､シャワーを浴び着替えを行うことができた。　 　Sheratonグループのメンバーカードをもっていたが、それが新しいものになったとのことで､更新されたものを受け取ったが、私の名前に”Ms."となっていて、あきれる。私は男です。 　タクシースタンドの従業員にタクシーを依頼しに行ったが、プライベートな会話をしていて、こちらに注意も向けず､仕方なくドアボーイに依頼した。 　客への配慮に欠けている感じがした。 　また、場所的にもNewton駅よりも、Dhoby Ghaut […] 駅周辺の方が便利だと感じた。 Read more

部屋のコンセントタイプはBFでしたが、日本のコンセントもそのまま挿せる形状でした。 変換プラグを持参してたのですが、不要でした。 部屋の風呂の排水が悪く、湯がなかなか流れないのが不満でした。 しかし、部屋は綺麗だったので、風呂以外は満足でした。 日本語を話せるスタッフはいなかったようですが、 英語が不慣れな私にも対応がよく、全体的に評価は高いです。

チェックイン時に、最終日レイトチェックアウトの条件での予約と説明し、予約書も見せてかなり時間を取った。しかもその予約書をマネージャーに見せに行ったにもかかわらず、最終日の１２時には部屋にコールあり。チェックアウトは４時の予定というと、部屋代をチャージするという。 また、プライバシー設定をしていてもハウスキーピングは１回のベルだけで何も言わずに部屋に侵入してくる。 surprisingly bad service.
