Good hotel. Clean, comfortable room. Polite staff. Only knocks...ask for a soft pillow at reception...the ones that are standard are rocks. If you have neighbours that go in and out regularly the doors will drive you crazy. The room was very comfortable and well-equipped. The shower was very powerful and the bed comfortable. The only downside was the evening menu which was not as advertised on the website. We were given a choice of five mains, two of which were fish, one burger, chicken with onion rings? and carbonnara. I stayed for one night for work so was a single female travellor. I was tired and so wanted evening room service which all arrived well cooked and presented etc. I had an early morning start for work on Sunday and so hung the breakfast in room card on the door and ticked the slot for 6.30 - 7am at 7.15am I telephoned reception as my breakfast had not […] arrived, I was told there had been problems with ovens however when my breakfast finally arrived I was told that the staff are not available on a Sunday so I should have been told my breakfast would be late. I use this hotel fairly often and enjoy the stay. Friendly staff on reception and always a pleasant atmosphere. Through experience I now rarely eat in the hotel, having found service on the slow side and the food a little "fussy".
