"HOTEL RANGA, SOTHERN ICELAND"
Stayed in Hotel Ranga as part of my wife's birthday celebration. Went to see the Northen Lights and they obliged on 2 nights out of 3 - wow !!! Hotel is superb with very friendly and helpful staff and it's perfectly situated (in the middle of nowhere) for the darkness you need to see the Aurora properly. Bar staff advised us to visit a beautiful […] bay full of icebergs (Jokulsarlon) and duly obliged in cleaning up some glacial ice we brought back and we used it that night to cool our Icelandic vodkas - you can't do that in England !!!
