Superb sandy beaches, championship-level golf courses, sea and lake fishing, and hiking or riding in the glens ensure that Dungarvan, the seat of Waterford county, is a true haven for those who love the outdoors. An enjoyable day of activity can be followed by dinner in a fine restaurant, necessarily capped off with a pint in one of the more than 50 pubs that dot the streets of this charming town.see all hotels in Waterford (county)
The Gold Coast simply needs to update in the fashion in which it was conceived. It seems a matter of which comes first, the chicken or the egg? In this case it is to update first or experience a surge of guests and cash flow first. The service was better than the physical condition of the hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Views from hotel very beautiful. But the hotel reception and corridors were very cold. We had toasted sandwich in the bar which was good. The bed room was very warm, clean but dated. The tv remote did not work the volume. Staff were helpful and friendly.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice location overlooking estuary but you need car to get into the town of Dungarvan. Hotel clearly aim at servicing the needs of the co-located leasure centre and golf course. Needs a facelift, not dirty but tired. Great for groups of golfers. Small play park for the children would have been good if we had children.Genuine Expedia guest review
If we had young children, and a limited budget, with the weather as good on our one evening/overnight stay, it would be quite adequate. A real 1950/1960's family seaside hotel athmosphere!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I booked a room with a sea view but our room overlooked the car park. There was no tv remote in our room. We had a long wait for our breakfast and they had run out of orange juice before we arrived at 9.30am. The bar was very depressing. Overall the hotel is in bad need of a revamp.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Beautiful setting, excellent staff, absolute comfort. Could not have been any better. A very high standard.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hôtel calme au bord de la baie"
Accueil agréable, vaste parking, grande chambre avec vue sur mer. Salle de restaurant également avec vue sur mer. Petit déjeuner satisfaisant.Genuine Expedia guest review
