Only fault was that they seemed to forget about us on the second day. We stayed two nights. We weren't on the breakfast list, and room service didn't come to change sheets or do a turn turn on our second day, and they didn't seem to have record of us when we checked out. In relation to the room cleaning, we could rang reception to request it, but by […] the time we realised they'd we been forgotten about, it was already late into the evening and we winding down. Hotel was very good although signs of exterior deterioration . Food and drink very expensive (more than 8 euros for a glass of wine)

The hotel is a little isolated but for a quite week end quite ideal although they probably could make more use of their grounds. Food was excellent and staff very pleasant.

Nice hotel but too far from town. Breakfast was great. Pool was very busy. They had an awful cheesy musician playing at the bar upstairs which was played on the sound system throughout the other bars & lobby of the hotel which created a horrible atmosphere when we got back in the evening. When I went to wash my hands in our bathroom I noticed that there was no soap or any other toiletries to be seen!. After taking a good look around I phoned reception and they told me they would see to it. After 5 or 10 mins a man came up and asked me"if I had found it?" I assured him I hadnt. I felt he didnt quite believe me! He looked around and told […] me that the housekeeper had assured him she had fully serviced the room. However, he left a bottle of shampoo, conditioner, and soap. Next morning , I then discovered I had no shower cap either! You would expect more in a hotel of this standard [5 *].When I was checking out I told the guy at the desk. I rec'd a phone message from the manager 3 days later [as I wasnt at home when he called, thus he left a message]. I then had to make 2 phone calls , at my own expense, to talk to him.He apologised and told me he would upgrade me on my next visit to the Lyrath. I wasnt impressed with his offer.
