Has all the good things we like at Hampton Inns in US with more services such as lite meals and drinks in bar area. Staff was very helpful. We arrive late and wanted Indian food at 11 pm. I had an early flight out of Liverpool. This hotel is just perfect, being across the road from the terminal. 10' after leaving the room I had already passed security. "Most convenient airport hotel ever"
Did not expect the hotel to be "right outside" the airport. I was expecting it to be across a busy main road but it was barely 100 metres between the hotel and the airport with just a little car park entrance to cross. My stay included free breakfast and Internet which is excellent and should be standard in all hotels (why should I have to pay extra […] for these services?). The breakfast was available even at 4am in the morning (the time I had to depart) although at this time there's no cooked food but what was available was great. The only minor issues are that perhaps more staff could be on the front desk later in the evening as it became busy. Also the staff should have told the hen night groups to be quiet as they were noisy, rude and annoying. Overall this is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. This is an decent enough hotel, located opposite the airport. Only slight complaints were around the food, which was nothing to write home about. "Can't beat it for the airport location, and a good hotel"
Stayed one night after getting the train to the airport. There's a bus connection to the airport from Liverpool South Parkway. This takes you to the terminal, and the hotel is directly opposite the terminal. You can't beat it for ease of location to the airport. Hotel is above the car rental office, so handy for that too, although some great planner […] at Liverpool airport located the rental cars a fair walk away. Hotel room was newly refurbished and nicely done. Good sized rooms, comfy bed and good facilities. Breakfast was basic buffet but fine. Staff were pleasant and typically scouse, so don't be surprised if they call you "mate" not "sir" - that's the correct way to address someone in Liverpool! Great location if you need to catch an early flight from Liverpool. Ask to have a room on top floors then you have an interesting view as well. Maybe not beautiful - but great.
