"Great Addison/Galleria Hotel"
Overall the service was great, the price was adequate and the recent renovation really made the hotel look really nice. It's very close to Belt Line, so if your looking for a good time and don't want to drive to a far hotel,this is the one. For the price range, definitely the nicest place we've stayed. Place was quiet and clean. Compared to a couple others in the area, was cheaper yet included a complimentary breakfast bar. "$100 incidental charge! Horrible Beds!"
Be PREPARED to pay a TRIPLE DIGIT incidental charge when you check in which even though released is still on my bank pending charges two days later. This is a very high amount to have authorized out of my debit account for this type of hotel. It was not worth it. The beds are the absolute hardest beds i have ever slept in. My hip is still hurting and […] the only way I could sleep was on my back. The maid did not make up our room. They never came. We had to ask for towels the next morning. "Nice, but better service needed"
Everything was fine...lots of restaurants, easy access, no traffic noise, nice rooms. The only problems I encountered was with the business center. After bringing up my boarding pass I couldn't print it. I was then told that that particular computer doesn't print. I overheard the staff say "we should put a sign on they", but they never did. "Price was right for extended stay"
The staff was very polite and efficient. When I first arrived, it was a very cold day and my room was freezing. I did call the front desk and they said they could move me to another room, but the other room was freezing and the heater was not any better in it than the one I originally had and wasnot warming up---I kept my room as I did have the heater […] on and it had actually started to warm up but it was about 3 hours before it did so---I had to get under the cover to try to stay warm . The heater did not heat up the room well at all. The next night there was a person across the hall from me that was causing alot of problems, laying out in the hall screaming obscenities , coughing real loud and half dressed. The staff at that time did move me to another room on the 1st floor . The commode broke. and it was fixed when I got back in at the end of the day. at night the people above me stomped around every nite around 10:00 to 11:00 pm. The staff was very nice, but the other problems above I did not want to deal with after a long day at work. This hotel at this location I will not stay in again. "Clean and comfortable"
The front staff was a bit rude when I asked about the $100 pre-authorization on my debit/credit card. She later tried to soften her response by explaining it was because smokers were smoking in their non-smoking facility and weren't being compensated for it. The ice machine on the 2nd floor never had ice in it the 5 nights I stayed there. For the price […] I paid, it was sufficient enough. I had the pool to myself my last day there. Was concerned about some of the negative comments I had read on here... The small airport is close, you can hear an occasional plane. The bed pillows are very small... not standard size. My room was nicely decorated and very clean. Desk clerk was very nice. Moderate hallway noise from slamming doors. Overall all, it was very nice, I had a kingsize […] bed, was comfortable and everything was clean... Im a neatness freak on the bathroom and it was spotless.
