There was no one at front desk at arrival had to wait about 10 minutes. There's only one elevator. The carpet in the room was very dingy and the ceiling was peeling from some water damage over the bed. They also didn't have full size pillows, a square pillow.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Staff inneptness and uncooperative"
Receptionist who checked me in was the most abrupt and unhelpful person possible. She put my husband and me on the second floor at the very furtherest end of the hall, and when I told her we would wait for a ground floor or at least closer to the elevator, she emphatically replied, "We have nothing available nor will we have anything available!" "Price was right for extended stay"
The staff was very polite and efficient. When I first arrived, it was a very cold day and my room was freezing. I did call the front desk and they said they could move me to another room, but the other room was freezing and the heater was not any better in it than the one I originally had and wasnot warming up---I kept my room as I did have the heater […] on and it had actually started to warm up but it was about 3 hours before it did so---I had to get under the cover to try to stay warm . The heater did not heat up the room well at all. The next night there was a person across the hall from me that was causing alot of problems, laying out in the hall screaming obscenities , coughing real loud and half dressed. The staff at that time did move me to another room on the 1st floor . The commode broke. and it was fixed when I got back in at the end of the day. at night the people above me stomped around every nite around 10:00 to 11:00 pm. The staff was very nice, but the other problems above I did not want to deal with after a long day at work. This hotel at this location I will not stay in again. "Not worth the money at ANY price"
This place is horrible! The rooms are all non-smoking, but yet ours had a very strong cigarette odor. You can't have smoking rooms for years, and then suddenly stop people from smoking in the rooms, and call it non-smoking. The nauseating odor was still there. The room was not very clean, and the toilet lid was broken - Apparently, propping it up to […] look good was enough for them. Service was virtually non-existant. We took our grandkids to the pool after dark, and none of the exterior/pool lights were turned on. After reporting this to the front desk twice, the girl came out, turned a couple of switches, and calmly notified us that the lights were on a timer, and she would have to get with the manager. Needless to say we had to swim in the dark. Another young girl almost jumped on top of my grandson because it was so dark. "if you like AC-dont go here."
We arrived very late and very tired at the hotel. The room was over 100 degrees and the AC had been left off, it took hours for our room to cool off so we could sleep. I went to the front desk and was told they do not turn the AC on when expecting guests, Texas in July is HOT. The hotel elevators and halls were not air conditioned either. The toilet […] was dirty and we got no fresh towels on day 2 of our stay. I complained when we left and was told the manager would call me, I never got a call about the lack of AC in our room, but I was told that they do turn the AC on in the rooms and I should have been offered a different room ( I was offered nothing).
