Mostly quiet, the office I was auditing was 1/2 mile from hotel. Plenty of restaurants to chose from. The staff were very helpful. Thank you to the screaming people fighting at 1 in the morning and again the whole next morning while we were getting to leave. Hotel room was very small and dated. The screaming people made it feel a little ghetto. Wouldn't stay there ever again, but might stay at a la quinta somewhere else.

Bed sagged, no hand towels were in the room when I arrived on my first day. I left a note to leave a specific number of coffee packages in the room each day and out of 3 days it was done right once. Breakfast is good and fresh food arrives constantly! Those hard boiled eggs are hard to peel.

When we arrived we were very excited to stay in the area. Lots of restaurants near by AMD within walking distance. The staff at the counter were very nice and welcoming. My initial reaction of the premises inside and outside was it was an old hotel. My guess is it was built in the 80's. We were given a room on the 2nd floor and when we walked in it […] was stuffy and hot. We kicked on the old ac unit and it blew very slowly even on the highest setting. It was only a 90 degree day so I expected it to cool off quick. After 2hrs, the temp didn't seem to drop at all. I went down to the front desk and told them I would like another room and they did it without question. They were very nice. The 2nd room was cooler upon entering and the ac kept it cool. The ac units are very outdated as are the furnishings. The beds were soft but comfortable for my wife, daughter and I. The room just felt old and dirty. The floors made our feet black when walking around and the tub had mold in the caulking. We paid to stay two nights. We went out in the morning and came back at 2pm and our room had not been made up. No one put on fresh linens and no one picked up the trash or the pile of towels we left on the floor. We decided to just leave early and spend another night there. For the price, we expected so much more. I would not recommend this place to others or stay there again. Read more

I am in the cleaning business so i understand that I may have a more critical eye than most people. The carpet in the common areas leaves a lot to be desired. I also feel for the price I just paid this hotel is not on a par with others in the same price range.

Upon arrival at the Hotel, check-in was polite and fast. It was getting late and we needed to find the Galleria and did not know for sure how to get there. This hotel was pretty good overall. The outer appearance was appealing. The location was fairly close to the freeway, so travel was convenient from there. Although, the neighborhood was a little "low-scale". The service was pretty good. One recommendation is to request a courtyard room because it has an extra door that let's you go onto the courtyard. […] The condition of the room was fair. However, we closed the door to the courtyard one time, and a big piece of paint and plaster fell down from the ceiling onto the floor. It was about a foot diameter. I wasn't pleased with that. However, the service made up for it. The front desk was polite. I left some clothes after I had checked out, but the shipped them to me once I called them about it. The only thing I didn't like about this hotel is that it has no restaurant so there is no room service. However, they had plenty of menu's from nearby venues that delivered. They also had a nice breakfast in the morning. The rooms and the property were very nice - more than adequate and up-to-date especially for the price. Especially great was the […] free shuttle to anywhere within 5 miles. That meant I could get to my conference at a different hotel and to the Galleria mall at no charge. One night I took a taxi back because it was so late and it cost $15 bucks, so the free shuttle is of great value. Read more
