Hilton Garden Inn Halifax Airport

We stay at the Hilton Gardens whenever we're home for a family visit. It's very convenient for those early morning flights back home to Alberta. This is a relatively newer hotel located only a few kilometres from the airport. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. There is a restaurant in the hotel, but we've never eaten there, preferring to eat […] in Halifax with our family before driving out to the airport. I stay at a lot of HGI hotels in the states and this one seems like a very old one. My room was very dated but clean. Overall cant beat the location, close by the airport without the sounds and 24 hour shuttle service to the airport

We arrived 6 hours too late at 3 o'clock in the morning. Shuttle was in 10 min. at airport, rooms were as expected, clean and good, as also the beds. Breakfast ist included, which is not obvious in North America. Very good experienc.e

A bear had been seen on or near the property and a warning issued. Use caution when going out at night. Charming! However, confusing my reservation: and checking in another guy with a similar last name but very different first name, under my name was not charming. Nothing in vicinity except two hotels, so dining and entertainment options are nil and hotel food and drink is pricey. Free WIFI is easy to access and printing is also gratis. Read more

It's close to the airport--which is the main selling point. I had a lumpy bed but other than that, the room was nice. There is an on site restaurant which is okay--but far too expensive for what they have. Definitely drive somewhere else to eat.

Very close access to airport, convenient on site parking while away but could be monitored while on site. A plus to have complimentary 24 hour airport shuttle. We stayed overnight for an early morning flight at the airport. Room was very clean and comfortable , staff were all very friendly. As we did not have time to have a meal in the restaurant this time, I can not comment on the service there. The complimentary coffee and tea available early in the morning was greatly appreciated as well.

Staff was very helpful, room was quiet (although had trouble sleeping). It was also wonderful to have the opportunity of going to the restaurant as I had arrived late in the evening at this airport hotel which is away from everything. Having scheduled a 3:00 p.m. Porter flight which actually didn't leave Ottawa until 4:30 - thus getting me to the hotel […] after 7:30 (Ottawa time) when I hadn't eaten all day - a glass of wine and chowder was great. Used this hotel as my stepping stone back to Ontario. It's very close to the airport so if that's of importance to you then this is it. Wanted to enjoy a drink at the bar but this must have been the smallest bar I've ever seen in a hotel. It seated about 5 people. Needless to say it was "full". Hilton service expected. Nice and quite even though it is minutes away from the airport. The B+B package is great as I saved $60 for the breakfast buffet, the hot food is nicely done and delivered to our table. I will go back again if I visit Halifax.

Fine hotel near airport, 10 min distance with free shuttle. Very nice staff, clean room and comfortable bed. I did not have enough time to try the restaurant though, as my stay was very short. Good shuttle service on time, which is well appreciated at 4 am! I would go back any time.

Everyhting pretty good, very clean room and helpful staff. A little hard to find very dark and not marked road. Curtins in room don't close. Bright parking lot lights make it hard to sleep.
