"Hidden Valley Resort"
This hotel should not be rated 3 stars, especially when the Deerhurst is only 3.5 stars. Overall, it was okay. The room keys NEVER worked. No elevator for your bags. "Not what the photos depict"
The photos look great but I've seen motels with better amenities. Disappointing and hard to find at night. Roads are steep so in winter, better to have a 4wheel drive car.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Awful food at the restaurant. Pool was slimy, sand all over the floors. Sauna didn't work. Staff didnt once ask how we were enjoying anything or how the stay was. Very disappointed!Genuine Expedia guest review
"bad experience"
We booked a room with two double beds and got confirmed from expedia. However, when I got there, they gave us a room with only one king bed. I asked for a change as we have two kids and got refused. They said they do not guarantee room availability when it is booked online, even with the confirmation from expedia. Room, common areas and pools were not clean. Front desk staff were unfriendly and not accomodating. Restaurant staff on the other hand were friendly and helpful. Natural outdoor setting in Muskoka was beautiful, but would pay the extra to stay at Deerhurst next time.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"YIKES!"
The staff at the front desk were very skilled at ignoring us upon our arrival. The room was dark and without furniture (no drawers!). Our balcony was non-exisitent and there was mildew in the shower! I won't be visiting this resort again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"hidden valley off season get away"
Bed was very uncomfortable My wife and I awoke with very sore backs from the sleep. The shower temperature fluctuated from scalding hot to ice cold regularly without warning.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
