"Check-in Annoyance"
Upon checking in we could not bring our car to the hotel door because there was a carpet cleaning truck parked right in front and on an angle. Once inside, we were unable to get a luggage rack because the hoses for the carpet cleaning was surrounding them. No one in the lobby offered to help us lift the cart over the hoses so we carried our luggage […] to our rooms. The worst error the hotel staff made was to give us (the ones to make the reservations with our credit card) a room with absolutely no view and then say, "Since we didn't have another deluxe king room, we are upgrading your friends to a suite". We were so upset since we did all the ground work getting the best rates, etc. and we have recommended this hotel to so many people. When I told this to the girl behind the desk, she meekly said, "I'm sorry". We have always had a wonderful experience with this hotel but this time we were dissatisfied with the staff at the desk.
